In all fairness, an avid minecraft player will know what each block is just by looking at the image. I.e. if I wanted to craft a torch, I could do it with my eyes closed. X, right bumper, right, down, A. Done.
I understand the commotion. But other games have done this, so it isn't really a problem. Also, you're not bragging. You're just rather wealthy. I play it on a 27" flat screen HD, so I'm not bothered by you're larger telly. It's just a telly...
i consider myself somewhat of an avid player, and its not the blocks that give you trouble so much as the items. and crafting isn't the problem either, its when you want to move certain items around in your inventory. The fact that other games have done it doesn't make it feasable for minecraft. As i'm sure everyone thats even looked at a picture of the game knows, minecraft has a rather unique resolution set up for today's games, which really isn't a problem any other time than when it comes to splitscreen and having to shrink things. Just out of curiosity, have you tried splitscreen on your tv?
i only brought up television size because i assume it'd be harder to read the smaller the screen gets. And please dont assume im wealthy, we only got the tv i play on because it was one o fthose ridiculous black friday sales and it's plasma which makes it even cheaper.
Minecraft on the Xbox360 will not and never will have an infanite world. No game has ever or ever will have an infanite world. Even Minecraft on the PC didnt have one. once you went far enough, you got to the farlands, and if you got even futher, the world would just end. So you can all stop worrying about haveing an infanite world. If the PC cant handle it, the Xbox360 sure cant. I hope they will make larger worlds, and they just might, but only time will tell.
If they add something unique I think it should be a new type of furniture. As Minecraft really doesn't have much unique furniture.
this.....this is exactly what i mean...something ingame we can use. there is a lot of talk on whats impossible or possible new furniture would be cool or maybe some form of indoor lamp cuz glowstone looks weird and torches look dirty lol

Castle miner and Castle miner Z both have infinite worlds.
Well, they can probably somehow cut down on the saves... one game i had did that too. All though it would be awesome to have infinity, sadly an old X-Box 360 can't handle it. The hardware is kind of old.
The crafting system is unique as far as i know. I recently got the PC version and i must say i prefer the x-box version.
I too hope for something unique. Because of the new crafting system i think it would even be possible to be able to make two different types of blocks using the same materials(such as using stone to create two different types do stone bricks). But who knows.
I like the crafting system in the pc version a bit more because I like the idea of having to remember the recipes for items.
If An Exclusive Feature Was Added Eventually Someone Would Probaly Make A Mod For The PC Version To Add That Same Feature, So Technically It Won't be Exclusive Most Likely...
Ok here is what I think would be a cool add on. I think they should put a metal detector in to make finding what you need a little easier. Heres how it could work you put X amount of said element into the detector (X being a preset amount by 4j) then your detector works for Y amount of time (Y being a preset amount by 4j). Another way would be you have to craft a detector for each said element crafting amounts would obviously be set by 4 J Or a mix of the 2. This is just an idea but I thought it would be cool and help survival mode be less frustrating when you are looking for legit elements (not dup glitched thats cheating BTW) for your castle right in the middle of building it.

its a cool idea but i think thats what i like about minecraft over the other clone total miner forge. i like the fact that minecraft forces you to get off your pixelated a** and explore, giving you that sense of accomplishment you wont get from looking at a minimap like tm or a metal detector. but im not a fan of creative modes either so when it comes to getting your supplies which i find fun.makingit easier to find them takes the fun out of "Holy **** i just found diamonds holy **** holy ****" collecting them and then the rush to get them back home before the skellies screw you over or getting hugged by uncle creeper when your not expecting it. ahhhhhh always good times in minecraft.
Want: white flowers, blue flowers, mirror blocks, palm trees, coconuts.
I really like the idea of coconuts and palm trees. They would definitely make beaches look better.
I'd like to see new ores. Copper, maybe other kinds of gems would really add to the game. Even if they were only trophy type items.
heres what i want when you have a map and if you u press the button thats equlivant to the right click on pc while looking down it will take you ether back to ur origonal spawnpoint or back to the last bed u sleeped in (i dont have X-box edition but i have seen videos of it)
yea better spawning would be good....im tired of dying and then the game telling me my bed was destroyed or missing when i know for a fact it isnt. its starting to **** me off lol

Monitors count as HDTVs I have a 22" Viewsonic monitor and I can play split screen if I wanted to.

No it doesn't, go to the end of the map and you'll see.
