i was wondering if 4j was going to follow the pc game completly content wise or if we were going to get something different added in by 4j like a bonus new block or something along those lines...like a 4j original idea thats not in the pc or pocket edition? what what would your idea be? what would you like to see added in as exclusive content?
The crafting system is unique as far as i know. I recently got the PC version and i must say i prefer the x-box version.
I too hope for something unique. Because of the new crafting system i think it would even be possible to be able to make two different types of blocks using the same materials(such as using stone to create two different types do stone bricks). But who knows.

yea it's more simple. i'v played minecraft since version 1.6.6 on PC, then they updated it to 1.7.3 which i loved and have played on ever since although i did try 1.8 but i don't like the enchantment table 1.7.3 FTW.
i would like to see some form of anti griefing established as well as infinite worlds but what i really want is some form of in-game content anything from a few new blocks to an all new 4j designed mob...like cavebats that drop from dark ceilings to attack you before flying back up into the darkness. you know we all need another distraction while mining the caves right? lol
Eh, exclusive stuff would be cool, but that would create problems if they try to link xbox and computer games. Give me infinite worlds over exclusive content anyday!

Lolwut. I don't get why it can't be done on an SD telly. Every other game works fine with SD splitscreen, so why not this? Who cares if you cannot see your friends gamer tag?.. Who actually looks for them anyway? I don't...
it's not just the gamertags, it's everything in inventories and anything else you might have to read. Not bragging, but i play on a 55" HDtv, and just on 2 player splitscreen things are noticeably harder to read and even telling what something is from the icon can be challenging at times. I'd hate to see 4-player and making the resolution worse along with that would make it basically unplayable. I don't think anyone gives 4J enough credit for making splitscreen unavailable to SD players, they're really being done a favor...
What I want to see is a kind of marker block that I can put down in any location and have it show up on the map, I've lost so many spawners and cool parts of caves after having to leave and I can never find my way back lol.
Exclusive content would be great, but I'm more excited to see what 4J does update wise, such as larger (larger, not infinite, as the Xbox can't handle that) worlds, texture packs, and maybe even some paid DLC.

He's a slacker jack and he's okay, he games all night and he sleeps all day.
If you have any doubts about what the xbox can do regarding minecraft you only have to look at Total Miner Forge. Its an INDIE game,it doesnt have day and night cycles as of yet but the support for griefing is very good. There will be an update for it for day and night and also in the near future they talk of infinite worlds. You can search multiplayer games in your area and join. And also share and recieve other peoples worlds.Creative mode.Skins and user created texture packs are there as standard and extras are allways being added by competitions being held via the forums.I only bought minecraft as it was released before the day and night update for TMF,which is still being worked on.
Im not trying to get people on TMF but i just find it funny how an indie game can give so much back to the players and yet an arcade game has people doubting whats possible.
The fact is its ALL possible for minecraft, just a matter of how much money can be made.If not as much as they want, then it wont get done.
With a business brain, why would you spend ages making infinite worlds that will be released with a free update when it cost money to do so.
sorry for my 2 cents turning into a bag of change.
total miner forge only gets infinite maps on creative mode.....no digdeep infinite map planned yet..total miner forge is pretty stsgnant right now and the next update wont really improve the gameplay total miner forge is a bad example buddy seeing as how every otheblock game already has day night while total miner does not..so in my opinion a ramp some different textures for stairs and day night is not saving this game....plus the community has gone downhill since minecraft came out..the forums are full of kids telling eachother bedtime stories and stupid crap. and total miner when it first came out was terrible it took over a year of updates to bring it to what it is now......so how about you give 4j the same amount of time to do their crap and you might be suprised with what a whole team of devs can accomplish. total miner has a few things minecraftdoes not...but minecraft has way more things that total miner does not and never will due to crappy programming and the dev refusing to hire professional help to push his product out faster..hell my friends list used to be packed with people playing tm......not anymore thanks to minecraft.

Completely agree.
Yeah I'm in that boat right now...

this actually sounds like an amazing idea
The xbox can handle amazingly. It wouldn't be a question of if they can, rather it'd be a question of do you have the space.
Minecraft already produces the biggest save files I've ever seen on the Xbox 360 so I'm sure they are already near the size limit.
Actually, it's 864x864. Even more exclusive!
