Hey guys, just wondering why my saplings wont grow. Is it because there are slabs around it? I seen some videos where saplings could grow side by side, but I made mine one block away from each other. Any help?
It could be because it's too dark in there. It doesn't seem to bright in the pic you provided so that could very well be your problem because sapling need a certain light level to grow. I know it might ruin the looks but you could try putting a couple glowstones in the floor to brighten the area up.
Other problems could be that the roof isn't high enough, but it looks like it is so that shouldn't be it. Try making sure the roof is about 7 blocks high and try.
Or you could simply bonemeal the trees, but requiring bonemeal to farm your trees isn't part of a productive tree farm lol.
