I can't seem to get many mobs to come out!! I have seen a pic of someone's mob setup and wanted one of my own. I works but they are slow to come out!
Here is a pic of the inside(underground!!)
They go up to the left to above ground to a arena i am building if i can get it to put more out.
I am new to this, So any help/ advice would be cool. If any one has one they show pic's of please do!
This is the pic I seen NOT MINE.found on page 28 of the screenshots section.. My goal is to get about that many coming out.
You might be getting to far away from it and they stop spawning.
And I'm assuming you remove the torches when you leave right? Mobs from a spawner spawn the best in total darkness. The more light there is, the less they spawn.

Yea i remove the torches of course, lol, And i am not sure but i should be about 15 20 block's away.

Well, I'm not sure what the problem is.
I'm not incredibly knowledgable when it comes to spawners either.
You need to be within 16(i believe) blocks or less of the spawner for the it to activate. They don't follow the 24 block away rule for regular spawning mobs. To make sure it is the most efficient, the room around the spawner should be 8x8. The height should be 5x5(two air spaces above the spawner, and two below). Also make sure the mobs are getting moved away from the spawner as fast as possible since it will stop spawning mobs if there are too many close to the spawner(though it seems like you have done this part).
also if what damien said still doesnt work that would be wierd but you could also try lighting up near by cave around yuo this will make a huge difference in spawn rates also remeber mob gringer/spawners work better in the day time if your under grown but if your doing all this a night thats your problem
