hi i just bought minecraft for xbox and its really funny i alreday make a bunch of things so my question is this me and my friends started to build a skydome at the layer like 112 one block over the clouds and we put dirt all about the base but the dirt never becomes green so i searched and there is a maximum layer where animal spawns but im not sure if in the xbox its equal so can somebody say me please what is the maximum layer for animal spawning so i can build my sky dome
okay but at what layer do i need to build to spawn animals or i can build it over the clous and spawn animals ?
You can do it anywhere just make sure theres sunlight and grass blocks and build it 6 long, 6 width (wide), and 4 height or longer. There was a thread of this already, this tactic can spawn passive mobs like wolfs and pigs.
