I make a response of over 20 sentences. You respond with one poorly-written run-on... :I
Joking, joking...
OT: I highlighted your controversy in bold. With all these ways to play, this is technically a sandbox game. You can play competitively, creatively, and so on. Also, you incorrectly stated that the developers chose the game to be competitive, but then you said it was made to be creative. Those discrepancies combined was not what I expected.
I expected that you would actually discuss at least ONE other sentence out of the 20. So many points were covered, and I thought you would talk back with either agreement or disagreement to them in legible paragraphs. Are you trying to "get my head going" again?
No, because these points were misconstrued due to wording on my part. However, I did edit my original post and have already responded to almost everyone.
Let's get down to it.
1. Hardcore survivalist claim the game is meant to be played this way due to the fact the developers made it this way.
2. These same people know that there is a creative mode on the PC and know it will come to 360 eventually.
3. Now as the game stands, it can be played as survival or creative... but with limits.
4. Many survivalist have bashed the creative mode and those that want to play creatively, including those that go beyond the scope of the game.
5. Creativity can be achieved without the dup glitch.
6. Creative mode is pretty much a dup glitch.
7. Cheating in survival or creative is not supported by me.
8. We can have our own fun in our own world in what ever manner we see fit even if the developers as limits to the game. We as gamers chose our own path.
Nobody cares. It’s beta 1.6.6, Minecraft was like this before, you newbie. Basically you’re embarrassing yourself by not actually knowing the version. Unless, you do, and I don’t care anyway because I already said b1.6.6.
One only needs to dig 3 blocks in the ground and place the 3rd block on top and sit there to survive. Sounds boring if survival is what you're really talking about. Not much too it. Very simplistic. No need to over complicate it.

I'm not talking about the PC version or what version this happens to be on the 360.

This is creative vs survival... straight.
Now try again.
That's good to know. But, if you just want to survive... dig a hole... and you know the rest.
Digging a hole in a ground and sitting there is not surviving, its making you look like a dumbass

I love nothing more than mining tons of cobblestone and cooking it into stone. For hours every night I dig dig dig.
My roomate hates digging with a passion. He never does it. He just waits for me to build up 100 stacks of stone and then he goes and builds with it. He's really good at building stuff.
So am I, I just prefer digging. For building, I like fortresscraft much better. My custom blocks blow minecraft out of the water and I am able to build incredibly detailed structures and avoid the boxy, unrealistic look of the voxel. There's no such thing as mining an crafting in that game though, which is why I like to come to minecraft to dig around.
Strange how we both get so much enjoyment from doing two completely different things in the game.
Sometimes when I'm digging I think about how lonely it can be, deep down in my hole, with nothing but grunts and screeches to keep me company. Sometimes, when my roommate builds on the surface, he tells me he feels the same.
I guess what I mean is that everyone takes what they will from their gaming experience and people have different tastes and ideas about what's fun.

Put survivalists down as much as you want. But, if you're actually a good player of minecraft, you would play on hard, and die of starvation every time you dig three holes deep and cover it up.
Wait.
If I dug down three and put a block above my head, a creeper would still be within range and would detonate, killing me. So, that doesn't work....
You wouldn't survive a day (excluding night) in minecraft.
I don't think a creeper can reconize you if you are covered.
its not like its a big deal, but I personally think its rewarding to build something cool in survival. Thats kinda the ultimate goal, to gather resources, persevere and build all kinds of stuff all over my little fake world.

There is no hunger on 360. So yes. Plus I didn't specify the difficulty. And if I really wanted to survive and beat the system.... I could switch it to Peaceful.

If he have seen you once, without anythink blocking his line of sight, then he will be able to see you trough walls etc.
I don't know why everyone has such a hard time with the little bastards, i only had a creeper blow up once, they are pretty easy to kill with just an iron sword.
If you hide before you are seen... you will not be seen.
Dig a hole and stay the night if you want, go create a huge pixelart in creativemoe that everyone has already made once, build a city, wathever. In the meantime, i stay survival, you see, you could just dig a hole, but you just lack the creativity to build something cool in survival, you play it to serious. It's awesome to spend hours underground to find diamonds, slay monsters, explore caverns. Or just go outside, explore the desert, build a castle, anything.
I think you just lack the skills to build something in survival mode.
Anyway, im not gonna hate, you shouldn't go hating eighter, just have fun ^.^
Come join a game with me on 360 and I can show you my survival skills on any skill. I'm not worried.
I say there is no wrong way to play minecraft because the pro-survivalist say that we must play the game competitivly becomes that's what the developers chose the game to be even though it is a creative game.
Original post was edited so read again before bashing me. Thanks.
No you said that survivalists have no imaginations. *coughdouchebagtrollbitchcough*

We are talking XBLA. Not PC. so....
Well we do say you must play survival right now, because there is NO CREATIVE! Creative is NOT pretty much a dup glitch, you are in survival and the dup glitch, is just that, a GLITCH! Since when have we bashed creative? We have bashed the dup glitch, but not creative. We HAVE stated that we like survival more, but we give reasons why, unlike you who are just failing at being a troll. I understand you edited it, but the fact remains you said it before.

I'm a bit confused here. If survival is overrated, but you say you don't support cheating, i.e. the dup glitch. I have no problem with people using the dup glitch, but it is cheating nonetheless, because the definition of cheat is, "Act dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage", which a duper is doing. Also, you state that you don't support duping. So if you don't want to play survival on the X-Box, what mode do you play?
Secondly, while big structures can be built with creative mode, a similiar large structure built in survival mode is more meaningful, because to built a huge structure in survival takes more time and dedication, while a creative mode one is still impressive, but it takes less time and effort.
You also say that "winning" survival is as easy as digging three down and then a roof. Wouldn't completing creative be as easy as placing a diamond block then?
That's good to know. But, if you just want to survive... dig a hole... and you know the rest.
But if you want to thrive in survival, than you have to do a bit more.
My point exactly. It's takes a dumbass to survive.
I see you are continuing your tradition of "not bashing survival". Yes, you can just dig a hole, but you aren't really playing the game. You could do the same in creative, or even less. Being in survival doesn't make you completely "don't build, survive" focused. I have a largish town in my survival world, and I usually only fight a few mobs a day. For me survival is the threat of the mobs, which forces you to build a legitimate building.
I doth believeth that thou doth not understandeth thy point... eth...
Basically, this was one misconception over someone saying the duplication glitch was basically creative mode.
Both sides are bashing each other, why is it just one person starts such large flame wars? Back on the pocket edition one, one person started an entire flame war based solely on saying 'Apple sucks, get an android' that one comment brought up hundreds of arguments and such.
You're all feeding the trolls. Survival is not overrated, it's what the game is. Creative, however is just that. It's a chance for you to be creative and remove the restrictions and limitations from survival.
I've never seen someone make a computer out of redstone on survival, but always have on creative, they are huge and as such, need less limitations, that's why it's called 'creative' mode.
I'm glad that someone finally gets what I'm saying.
Who are these 'hardcore survivalists' you keep talking about!? Are you saying everyone who plays survival bashes people who plays creative? And when did people get split into 'creativists' and 'hardcore survivalists'? This isn't the politics section!
I don't feel like going around quoting all of the ones that say that we must play the game as a survivalist due to the fact that there is no creative mode. If you want to look for me... that would be cool.
