I think there may be something strange happening in my Minecraft world. I'm building a large tower off the coast of a small island in a lake. I decided early on that I wanted all of the floors to be made of wool. So, I set out to find herds of sheep to collect wool from. When I collect the wool, I kill the sheep so that it will free up more room for other mobs to spawn, hopefully gaining me more sheep. I did this flawlessy without effort or interruptions until the past few Minecraft days.
It almost seems as though every time I come across a herd of sheep, they have 2-3 Creepers in the herd or within close proximity. This doesn't just happen sometimes, it happens every... single... time... lol I am almost convinced that the sheep and Creepers have formed some kind of deal. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. I am now holding off on sheep hunting until I can manage to make a bow and some arrows to deal with the Creepers. Who knows, maybe if I decide to stop murdering defenseless sheep for a while, the Creepers will back off.
Anyone else have strange seemingly coincidental happenings in their worlds?
(I made this post because this is actually happening to me. I'm sure it is just coincidence but it's still funny. I also posted it because I felt like something other than a topic about clay, updates, bugs, duping, DLC, world size, map sharing, etc, etc.)
I have run into spiders that would push skeletons towards me as I'm being chased. Not spider jockeys, spiders pushing skeletons along.
I've also run into zombies protecting my mushrooms from me, and on one occasion a creeper. Of course I didn't see it coming and next thing I knew, I got to see just how close my basement was to the surface.
Creepers spawn in terrifying numbers, but one learns to adapt. My coincidences are all of the Murphy's Law variety, eg, suddenly never enough creepers when I go farming gunpowder, always more skeletons when I've run out arrows to shoot, the first diamond vein I find after hours of searching is naturally above the middle of the widest lava pool I've ever seen...

In all seriousness though, thank you for ending the repetition of the constant "HERR DERR i cant fidn teh clay!!1!" posts.
