You should put a screenshot up if you can, I'd like to see what it looks like.
Your standing to far away from your spawner, you need to be standing close to mob spawner blocks or they don't spawn mobs. If you have three dugeons all conected to the same grinder you probobly arn't standing close enough to them. This video shows how close you have to be for mobs to spawn and how big the room needs to be.
