I'm just curious if there is a way to make a clay generator for the xbox version like you can on the PC. I know gravel and water make clay but Im just not sure if you can actually MAKE it or if it has to naturally occur itself to harvest cause I've been all over my world and I can't find any at all. I know you cane generate your own cobblestone though just curious if there is something similar for clay.

Clay + Gravel does not make clay in the official, unmodded PC game.

Cobblestone generators work from lava + water and you can technically make one now, but they're much more fun with pistons.

so no way to actualy make clay yourself unless you can actually find it in the game?

Correct, you have to find it naturally.

Do all maps have at least some clay or are there some without causeI haven't found any yet and i've been everywhere except the bottom of my oceans.

Is it a new map since the update? Because explored parts of maps before the update will have no clay or none that wasn't already there.

I am using the LIGHTER FLUID seed for my map. Might have been pre update, honestly can't remember. I will start a second world with the LIGHTER FLUID seed and see if there is clay. Just really don't want to have to start over on my world since everything I have done i have done alone and it took me a long time to do it. Thanks for the info though. I hope they do come out with some way to actually make clay in the game though like you can cobblestone.

you can get clay from tmi or mods but you have to find it yourself.
