I thought they werent in the game till adventure!!!!!??? its so weird and unexpected plz reply! I want to know if other people have found this valuable food item!!!!
For the 5000th time, yes they are in the game. People really need to bruish up on their version history. Golden Apples have been in the game since Ifndev, which was before Alpha.
Crafting them is what comes in a later update. The Golden Apples and Red Apples are in the game already. (Red Apples are in the game but cannot be obtained until the 1.8 update)
No there not, dungeons, abandoned mines, stronghold and villages get introduced in the 1.8 version of the game. There are only mob spawns, they are not dungeons.

Red apple haven't even been introduced yet on the xbox 360 version, and neither have dungeons.

If you want to be technical there ARE inventory editors. I just dont like them, takes the fun away.

Retired StaffConfirmed! This is awesome, it's literally right under where you spawn too. Chest also contains bucket, an iron ingot, gunpowder, and wheat.

Thanks for the info, finally got me a golden apple as well now. My house is very close and I'm pretty sure I would of never dug there.

X:41, Y:50, Z:-81
X:35, Y:29, Z:-71
X:50, Y:29, Z:-67
X:44, Y:36, Z:104 is a little farther away but has 2 of the music CD's in the chests
If you want to be technical there ARE inventory editors. I just dont like them, takes the fun away.
there is another one close(ish) by as well, i found it while exploring a cave system of one of the dungeons you posted.
