Okay so, Zero and I decided to head down to the Nether. One problem. I cannot get out of the Nether. Everytime I try it will freeze on the "Leaving The Nether" screen. I think this is a bug or a glitch. I have tried everything. Has this happened to anyone before? How the hell do I fix it? I have been working on this village forever now and I really do not want to delete it. Can anyone out there suggest something I can try?

Try dieing. You may lose your stuff but it beats being stuck there. Did you save in the nether? Because that seems to be the main source of this bug.

I heard tricking a ghast to light your portal works.

I have a worse bug. I can't see item drops or mobs or if it's night. They're still there but I can't see them. Also most of my sound affects are gone. It's unplayable

Try killing yourself. Also, don't save your game while you're in there, nasty things come to happen. Like spawning above the Nether.

I suggested in another thread that rebuilding the nether side portal 128 blocks away might allow you to portal back to a different part of the surface world, and might get around this bug.

Die, save in the real world, go back, grab your stuff *optional* come back (if not working quit without saving), Boom! Never save there!

i might be playing today, so does autosave cause this or only a menu save?

This is the same problem I'm having! I'm stuck in the Nether with a diamond pickaxe :'(

I had this exact problem, freezing to or from the nether. My solution was to just move my save from or to the cloud storage and that fixed it. every now and then it will freeze but very rarely.
