Just wondering if you can sprint in the xbox360 edition and how to do it. Thanks!

you can not sprint in this version doesn't come out untill version 1.9.1.

You cannot, MC360 is not to that point yet. You will have to wait awhile for it on the Xbox.

I thought it was the 1.8 update? o_O

We don't know yet. The update won't be out for at least a few more months. It will probably be toggled with the analog stick or D-pad.

On the Computer you double tap forward. That would be kind of aqward on an analog stick, so im not sure whats gonna happen

If I'd give a guess, They will swap the 3rd person view thing to the D-pad, then use the left stick to sprint.

Well, considering it's all speculation now, maybe it'll be a third position, like the walking and crouching, and you'll just have to tap the left AS...

actually the update with the creative mode(which came 1.8) is 1.8.2 that is the adventure update im guessing for the xbox.

Sprinting is nice. It really helps you move faster.

Right now, you can only sprint vertically and only downward. Try it from a tall area at least 24 blocks above where you want to go.

And that would be the greatest thing since... the release of the game itself.

I've died WAY too many times by getting surprised by a creeper and mashing down on the left stick too hard, putting myself into the 3rd person view thing and having no clue which way to run. grrrrr

The 360 version is like in beta 1.5 or something. Sprinting wasnt on PC mc till 1.8.

LMAO! Me too. I thought I was the only person that happened to. Glad to know I'm not the only one frustrated w/that configuration
