Anyway I can get internet without adapter or conecting ethernet to modem/Router?Like any solutions for getting errors when connecting laptop to xbox?I tried that and theres errors popping up.Thanks

So for clarification, you're trying to get internet on your xbox without plugging it into a router, and without having to buy a wireless adapter?

If so, the only other way I know of is to share your laptop's internet connection via ethernet cable. What kind of errors are you getting? Are they on the Xbox or on your Laptop?

Yes,Thats what im doing,Conecting laptop to 360.I get like 3 every time.One said to unplug the modem from the power for 30 sec.Did that and nothing worked.Another said that to manully type in the ip adress.Did that didnt work.Then again it said to set it to atoumatic.Same errors.And it displays on my 360.

Yes ive noticed.Its just that on my laptop its seems"deleted".

I'm not a genius with Xbox (I'm a PS3 guy), but it sounds like the laptop isn't correctly sending the connection. Make sure you have your Xbox set to automatic detection, that should speed things up down the road. Did you modify your laptop's wireless settings to share its internet connection with a local network?

Im on a mac just to let you know.Let me see and ill replay in like 5-10 minutes.

And yes I forgot to tell you that.One error to is that it said it might not allow it to conect.All though it will have an check on the cable option.And ill need to look up in my manual how to do this ok.

Well, you lost me at Mac, as I haven't owned/used one since I was in High School. I did a quick Google search for it and came up with this.

See if that doesn't help you, if not, maybe someone around here who has a Mac can help with the issue.

Freelancer,Ive got it up and running so thanks for that topic.Right now my xbox is updating and it was for like 10 min now and I think its only 30% done!It is cause my internet speed.But thanks anyway.
