I dont have the PC version of Minecraft Because I can't buy it.These Were the Chests I found it in.
And notice how the chests dont have a 3D lock on it, and notice the old cobble stone texture.

Golden apples have been in Minecraft since Infdev, February 27, 2010. It went Infdev, Alpha, then Beta. Golden apples are in the Xbox version. 4J has confimered this when there was a misunderstanding from something padware said. They exist only in dungeon chests and cannot be crafted yet,.
