So i got bored So i made a new world i used the Play tutorial world o.o and i went in one o the house closed the door added few torches and all that I moved the bed to the middle so MObs dont spawn just incase


So supposedly the patch was suppsoe to stop mobs from spawning in ur house? right?

Well how come i woke up and an archer shot me in the face?


Did the patch fail or something? YES I UPDATED IT!

We seriously need the PC version's system. No BS surprises when you use a bed.

Keep moving it around until you find a spot where you won't get ambushed when you use a bed.

did you make sure the door was shut, or did you leave any part of your house open?


Also, was the mob in your house or did he shoot you from outside?

Two options that will be guaranteed, assuming your house is properly lit: 1. Place your bed on a second floor, anywhere you want. 2. Keep your bed from touching any walls on the first floor.

I use the second floor option, never been attacked.

I don't know why so many people are suffering from bad dreams of zombies and skeletons eating them in their sleep. I have yet to have this problem unless I have done something stupid like leave the door open. I left the door open to the balcony which was on the second story completely surrounded by fence no way for anything to get there and yet he did. So the moral of the story is torches, torches, and close the door.

I have houses littered all over my world. There are one are two houses that always spawn monsters at night. My favorite way to solve this is to tame a dog, and keep it roaming (not sitting) in the room I sleep in. I "sit" the dog when I wake. Anyway, If I'm ever attached, dogs deal a quick death to any "home invaders". Actually kinda fun. When I get bored with this, I move the bed to the basement.

I think the only way to keep mobs from spawning on these particular houses is to destroy the monster spanner they are near. I HIGHLY suspect there is a spawner within 64 blocks of the house. Time for some TNT .

I've always kinda seen this as a feature of the game. A challenge to deal with.

Then your house is cursed and you will forever be attacked at night, have fun.

If it was the big house near the water, there is probably a cavern underneath. I moved the bed away from the wall and I was still awoken several times during the night. I then placed blocks under the bed to raise it off the floor, and slept through the rest of the night.

Read up on spawners. Unless your room is big, like 10 x 10 x 10, you can never be sure your not sitting next to a spawner.

Yeah, sleeping during the sunset period before mobs spawn will allow you to sleep safely.

i hate when people tells you WAS YOUR DOOR OPEN? IS YOUR BED CLOSE TO YOUR WALL!? no! but after the "patch" yes because that's why a patch is made of! to fix the issues of the game! and it failed because i have the same issues i dont see any difference the only thing i saw after the patch its just the map!

Should I mention that the dupe glitch was a GLITCH and not a FEATURE.... if you used it, you prolly f'd up your map. Dumbass..

The tutorial map has AT LEAST 5 mob spawners.
