If I place a seed, as in "Glacier" and go looking for clay, will it be in that seed because of the update OR will that seed continue to be clayless since the seed itself didn't have clay before the update was released... In other words, will the update make an old seed have clay when generating a new world, or will that only apply to seedless worlds that are made on the spot without a seed? Sorry if this is a ramble, but it's difficult to explain exactly.

There is probably clay there, just look for it harder.

The way it works is, simply, when you put in your world seed, it generates the world based on the characters you used in the seed. Previously, when MinecraftX360 went live, there was a bug in the seed generator that gave clay a ridiculous set of requirements to even exist. Something about having both the X and Y axis being equal, I don't know the details.
Now, with this new update, they have fixed the seed generator problem and clay should be placed on the map normally. That means that a seed that was clay-less due to the bug can now be put into the seed generator and have clay generated properly. For example, pre patch, I put in the classic seed "404". What I got was a clay-less version of that seed. Now, post patch, if I put in "404" I'll get an identical map as the previous attempt, but with clay in the proper places.
The only thing you have to worry about is starting a new world now that the fix is out. All previous worlds made with the bugged seed generator will not have clay on them, even after the update.
Hope this helped.

I just typed it in and it looks the same as post-update... are you sure about that?
