was playing on peaceful mode and went to switch to normal and now my world gets half way loaded and then crashes any ideas on how to fix? thanks

Hasn't happened to me yet, but had a similar thing happen while loading a save in another game of mine.

I backed the save file up onto a USB stick and then uninstalled the game from my xbox and re-installed it, then copied my save file from the USB back to the xbox and it loaded up fine.

No idea if it will work for this, but it's worth a try if you had spent a lot of time on your world.

Try changing to normal mode in the main menu.

If things like this were pinned you wouldn't have had to find out the hard way.

if you duplicated i heard it can corrupt your save file.
