is there any way to not set it off or move it without destryoing my recently built hotel that got greifed when i was farming arrows?? i such an idiot for letting it stay online

At this point in time, no. Except the water trick mentioned above.

In a later update though, I think it's 1.8, TNT is no longer triggered by punching so you can move it by breaking it.
