Not sure if this is the right place but


Im not sure if there was an update or what i saw it on top but what does it mean how do i download the updates if there was even an update? If they have not made a post yet when do u think it ll come out i heard semptember for the adventure update or something but it hink thats too long im allraedy bored

It'll be an automatic update just like any other so there will be a pop up when you start up Minecraft.

The Bug Fix is coming out this week or the next
1.7.3 is coming out in early July.
1.8 doesn't have a confirmed date or month or anything yet. But it'll be a couple months after 1.7.3

Also I better not see that we have to pay for updates cus if we do i will break my xbox Like litterally Cus ive had it with xbox ********

Updates are free.

For info on the updates, go here. They will be posting the change logs in that thread. Right now, it only has everything from the bug fix.

I heard also that 1.7 Was just basicly a bug fix aswell on teh pc version except they added pistons is that gono be the same for xbox? or will it be different

We'll be getting 1.7.3 which will include what is listed below...

• Added pistons.
• Fixed clay generation. (On Xbox, this is being done with the bug fix soon, not 1.7)
• Flint and Steel or redstone is now required to trigger TNT.
• Fences can be stacked.
• Added Shears.
• Redstone wire now will connect to a repeater.
• Shears can be used to pick up leaf blocks.
• Shears can be used to shear sheep without hurting them.
• Sheep no longer drop wool from being punched, only from being killed when they are unsheared.
• New textures for Cobblestone and Brick blocks.
• The gray textures in the breaking animation have been replaced with opacity.
• Squid can now despawn.
• Single slabs now use the bottom half of the full block's texture.
• Cobweb now requires shears or a sword to be broken properly, and drops 1 string when destroyed.
• The bed side texture has been moved in the texture pack file, as well as the cake texture.

Also, smooth lighting and a few other behind the scenes enhancements are being brought forward early to 1.7.3 for the purpose of making the game run better.

So when the next update comes up, it will popup like "There is a new update for this game inorder to use live download now?" or something like that, or will it be in download content?

Almost same as the PC then i was right o.o

It will be automatic like every other update for games on the Xbox 360
