Giant toilet bowl and flush the villagers down it.

Maybe a slime with spawn there... I'd use it as a spawn trap.
You could also use it as a "FIGHTER CLUB"! Go up more, above your quarry and create a centered singe layer of dirt (9x9 maybe). Then invite your friends and have a battle to the death!

Probably because we get yelled at for making redundant threads but then we get questions like this and then the mods lock threads when we bump them. You can't win here. You're damned if you do and damned if you don't.

I put a diving board at the very top and a 2x2 pool of water at the bottom. You either go splash or crunch.

I'd probably build something on top with layers of basements going down, maybe even underground apartments. With the cobble i tend to wall off villages and makes giant roman style aqueducts as all of my villages eventually look like fantasy castle cities, and the aqueducts can double as a monster free raised ground transport system if you place boats in them and keep them well lit.

You could make a VOLCANO! You fill the quarry full of lava and then build a volcano around the quarry. Then fill up the volcano with lava and let it pour over. Voila! A erupting volcano!

After a dig like that, I usually make a spiral staircase to the bottom, branching off every few "floors" to create housing or storage rooms.

Make a platform around lvl 12 and mine that area completly.

host privledges on....fly on. walk a new player across your world. oh that giant hole? Must obviously be a chunk error just keep running.

Fill it with water and then build an underwater glass house.
