after playing minecraft xbla ive realized that the world size actually is pretty good, not to small at all. the only problem is the nether, in my server we have actually ran out of glowstone! anyone think that maybe there should be another way to obtain glowstone, like maybe you can farm it, but only in the nether, or zombie pigmen might drop some....
I have this problem, too, most of the remaining glowstone is in hard to reach areas like ceilings high above lava. Isn't the Nether also a lot smaller than the Overworld?

Could be wrong, never thought about it but i was thinking 3x smaller. Its say's 1block in the nether in equal to 3 in three over world. Though it could be smaller due to how close it will let you get to the edge of the map.

Yeah sorry i thought it was 1=4, but whatever it is, i would think that would be the ratio of size.
"If you create a portal in the Nether and re-enter the normal world, any distance covered in The Nether is multiplied by 8, effectively making The Nether a fast travel zone that allows for greater distances to be covered in a short amount of time in the normal world (in the Xbox 360 edition, this factor is 3 in stead of 8, probably because of the world size limit)."
In the snapshots you can buy glowstone from villagers... i don't know how long it will take that to get to the xbox version though.
Well, MCX360 is at 1.6.6 Beta and for the PC, Beta 1.6.6 was released on May 31, 2011. So, I'm guessing it might take about a year for MCX360 to be up to date...up to date as in now, June 2012.
