This may be a MC problem or Xbox. I run 24/7 with cooling on my xbox and its flawless. When it gets to 4+ people the game starts to stutter on my end. No other players notice it prolly from the delay from when ur not host. It seems like its either the server reading and writing causeing it cause from what i have read the game work like this.
Server = #1 CPU
Client = #2 CPU
Other crap to do = #3 CPU
So im tryhing to find out if anyone else notices the jitter when they have more then 4 people in their games. Also what xbox are you using.
Im running the XBS4GB with 250GB HD saving to the 250GB hd.
I have had more than 4 in a world and my world ran fine, except the edge of the map framerate drop we have had no problems. You may want to reboot your router (provided you haven't tried that) and see if that helps the connection issues.
lol I said nobody else sees the jitter. Just me (the host of the game). its when the 5th player total is in the game and up. Its not network lag. its like a fps jitter when ur fps drops for a sec.
Sounds like regular lag to me. You are hosting a world, there are 5 people in total, probably all doing different things. It probably is your network lagging and you just don't think it is.
Some peoeples internet can't handle that much stress for long, especially if you have limited bandwidth.
Like McAngus said, it can be your network. Rainbow6 Vegas2 was notorious for this, the host seemed to get all the lag and all of the players were fine. If it works or not it's still worth a try rebooting the router.
