My son was wanting to make potion bottles but everything we are finding on it doesn't really say how to make them. I found where it said he needed 3 glass blocks and a brewing table for brewing...but what does he use to make the potion bottles with? Can he use just the crafting table or does he need to use a brewing table? And also, how do you make a brewing table?
I think they are now.
If they aren't yet, remember this when they are:
To make potion bottles, make a "V" Shape with glass blocks. It will give you 3 bottles.
After you do that, you need a brewing stand. To do this, but a blaze rod in the middle of your crafting table, and three cobblestone blocks under it, and you're done. In order to make potions, you first need to make a base potion called an "Awkward Potion", which you do by putting three bottles in the table, and a Netherwart on top. Netherwart can be found in Nether Forts.
After you have Awkward Potions, you can brew various potions, such as
Potion of Healing- Put a Glistering Melon in the top slot, three awkward potions in the bottom. (Glistering melons are made by surrounding a melon slice with gold nuggets in a crafting table)
Potion of Strength- Brew a redstone dust into your Awkward Potion
Potion of Speed- Brew sugar into your Awkward Potion
Potion of Fire Resistance- Brew A Magma Cream into your Awkward Potion (These are made by mixing blaze powder and slime balls)
Every potion can be upgraded. To make a potion last longer, Brew it again, but with redstone. To enhance its affects, brew it with Glowstone Dust.

I love how this PC player acts like we gotta place items to craft. Hello? We navigate a menu system... and as long as we have the materials, we can craft it.
If you're asking where to craft glass bottles, scroll down from buckets in the tools section. To make a Brewing Stand, scroll down from the crafting table recepie in the structure section.

Stop being rude. Nearly every post you've made that I've read, you're dissing somebody or calling them out. Stop it. Not all PC users read up on the 360 version. Not everybody knows everything about the 360 game.

Then you're not reading all my posts. If you don't like what I have to say, don't read it.

Follow this, it's the best diagram.
