Hey guys, if anyone can help me out that would be great. I was wondering if it is possible to do skyblock on the xbox version of minecraft. It looks like a lot of fun and i would enjoy doing it. I saw this is a captainsparklez video and saw another forum about it. Any respond would be highly appreciated.
you would have to get all the items required like a bucket of lava, a bucket of water, a sapling and whatever else then stack up really high build a small island with a tree on it then start. also be sure to set your spawn there like keep a bed or something.
I built one today, only thing I couldn't get was a cactus :\, I put an extra bed in the chest so if two people play the can spawn up there & i just made up as high as i could over ice so if you fall dead.
The seed I used, where do i start its got some cool mountains & waterfalls + a fast network of caves, I got lost for over an hour trying to get back out all because I had to go down to lava level for 1 bloody brown mushroom :@

Nice. Sounds awesome (: I started getting all my stuff today but im still missing a red mushroom, and i think that's all im missing but im really not sure.
I made one on the seed flatgrass. I was adamant about making it directly at spawn to prevent griefing, however i neglected to realize you can just water elevator down then do whatever you wanted to. not to mention the fact that you cant place water or lava there easily. anyways, i suggest first making a grass stairs up to your desired height, then building the landmasses, then finding your materials - growing grass up there so friendly mobs can spawn is a real test of patience.
the only real way is to build an island at the top of the block limit (really high)
you can't delete bedrock, but dupe a bunch of tnt and you can clear out your land pretty fast.
