Ok so, I purchased the xbox 360 edition of minecraft on the day of its release, Its been great and I have been in with my buddy who is a noob helping him explore and teaching him stuff, we even built a mansion for him. Anyway, when I was in the Nether with him his internet acted up and kicked me from the game, It was cool with me he invited me back to his game and I started spawning but....I did not recognize standing on bedrock on ALL sides ... then I left and told him to invite me again.... I spawned again on all side their was a floor of bed rock..... (this went on for 5 extra times) then I gave up and started to look for some lava or something to jump in.......... their is nothing here.....just bed rock I am looking everywhere and i see a chunk in the map i race towards it and behold I see the entire map is below me!!!!!!!!!!! I spawned on top of the bedrock on the top of the map and I cannot kill myself and I need a way out b/c i believe it already atuosaved. any suggestions could help. keep in mind I cannot place any blocks i have with me on the top of the nether.

Get him to make some tnt and get to where you're at. He'll put the tnt below you, det it and you should die as it goes through blocks.

Have a bow and arrow on you by chance?

Wow! You spawned on top of the nether? You can't jump off it? Are there any spots up there that are 4 blocks high? You can jump off it about 20 times and maybe slowly kill yourself.

Nice, glad I could help. I can tell ya I'd be so frustrated to spawn on top of the nether.

Bad enough trying to get in an freezing. I can't even do decorations to my mansion until next month because i freeze everytime i try to enter and i dont know why.
