So my game froze yesterday (nothing new) but what was new is now every time I play Minecraft it resets my settings (Sensitivity) and it keeps telling me how to play like I've never played before. Not only that but Its giving me the same avatar awards. What's up with this can I fix it?
If you don't have any mods, you should try moving your saves to another folder, delete the .minecraft folder (can be found by running %APPDATA% then if you see three folders click on roaming, if not you should be able to see the .minecraft folder), open Minecraft and allow it to download, and then move your save files back into .minecraft/saves. If this doesn't work, I don't know what will.
