I have a large warehouse, with 10 chests for each block type, organized in alphabetical order. Each chest has a sign.

Most of the time, when I load the game up, it will have trouble loading the signs, and they will all say "Awaiting Approval". If the game doesn't successfully load the text in 30 seconds, it crashes, causing my Xbox to freeze. Also, if I break a sign within 30 seconds of loading my game, it's a guaranteed insta-crash. Wtf?

Sometimes it'll load the text in the first 5-15 seconds, and everything will be okay. But when it struggles to load the text, it causes my game to crash, repeatedly.

I'm 95% sure that signs are buggy and problematic. Is 4J working on a fix?

You asked if 4J is working on a fix. We're not 4J so we don't know.

Did you check the known bugs thread? If its not up there it may not be known and might be useful if you post it there. But it more than likely is know about..4jsteve is on these forums as well, you might be able to catch him and let him know

I checked the bugs thread, and the only related bug is something about the game freezing when you're building too fast.
But in this case, the signs that won't load seem to make the game crash.

Seems like a different bug, this is the first time I have heard about this one personally. I would post it up there and send 4jsteve a message or go to their Twitter to see if they are aware of this problem. Have you tried clear system cache, reinstalling the game, or any of the other "common" fixes that people try?

Try this: uncheck online game before you load your world.

Yes.

And I've posted it in the Official Bugs thread. Hopefully it will be responded to.

I mean, it has to be the signs, because if all of the signs load correctly, I don't have to worry about it freezing, but if some of them don't load, it will freeze 100% of the time.

And I can be like, "Hey Zach, wanna see my game crash?" *Breaks sign, game freezes*

Why would I do that? Then my best friend can't play with me =(

I'm just trying to help. It's possible that your game is corrupt. Try loading an offline game, saving, then reloading it as online.

This is disheartening =(

It's been three days, and I still can't play this game due to this issue. I've redownloaded the game, cleared my cache, etc. I'd like to request a refund.
