I think it's entirely possible that I'm using the rails wrong. I have built a coast-to-coast railway, and it's working pretty good, but the launching sucks.
The way I do it is as follows, I place the cart on powered rails, and then nudge it, and then have to quickly hop inside. Half the time I make it, half the time the cart speeds off without me. There must be an easier way.
Can someone give me the dummy's guide for making a launch point? Can we set it up so that I can place the minecart, have it stay put, and then get inside, and THEN activate the silly thing and have it launch?
I also notice that my levers arent changing a hot track into a deactivated track. I flip them but nothing happens. So anyone who can give me pointers on that front would be helpful as well.
Well hey, that makes the whole "no clay thing" pretty trivial. And here I thought it was a crippling thing, but I dont need red bricked houses after all, so I guess its no loss.

Go look at the tutorial world to see to to set it up.
No clay in my world.
Lol.
*facepalm*
Huh. I thought they were made of clay.

This thread bores me.
