DISCLAIMER: I do not play the computer's more advanced version of this game, so some of these changes may be on the way. But this list is just an off-the-cuff list of things I'd like to see in the "things changed" list after an update.
1.) Fix the no-clay bug.
2.) Move the "change view" selector to the D-Pad, so we dont keep hitting it when we're surprised.
3.) Add a quick-equip hotkey (shoulder button) for swords and bows.
4.) Add the ability to repair armor.
5.) Add experience points/levels.
6.) Make clocks mountable.
7.) Make display cases for items.
8.) More food items.
9.) Fix clouds appearing
10.) Ability to squelch dog barking / netherack burnings / ambient (ie non-monster) noises.
11.) Ability to play your own MP3s/music instead of the soundtrack.
12.) Make wooden structures float entirely (ie make ships/galleons)
13.) Add more monster types.
14.) Implement a use for the slime balls.
15.) Creation of large gates/portcullises.
16.) Make clothes craftable.
17.) Make a way to make arrows more powerful.
18.) Make TNT much more powerful.
19.) Craftable statues/suits of armor.
20.) Craftable fountains.
21.) Marble for crafting... walls, stairs, etc.
22.) Markable Map for Notes.
23.) Option to ignore a certain resource (ie "Never Pick Up Cobblestone") that can be toggled.
24.) A chicken with thousands of feathers actually gives you more than two.
25.) Stained Glass.
My "Wish It Would Be Fixed But It Probably Never Will Be" Honorable Mention
1.) Make the world bigger.
2.) Increase line of site.
3.) Persistence of creatures. I'm pretty sure once you move like 30 squares away, the creatures you had penned disappear.
4.) Online persistent world. Nobody hosts, everyone can just join, and private chests (ie only the owner could open). Naturally this kind of world still would have griefers, but still.
Many of those things will never be in it for the foreseeable future because they aren't even in the PC version. Some of the others like clay and sticky pistons are coming in the updates soon.

"Get the PC version" when used below means it already exists in the game!
I don't say "Get the PC version" if it doesn't do what OP wants - for example, you could definitely get the PC version and texture your glass or even make a mod that includes new glass types with color. That's a bit more involved, so there's no mention of nonsensery like that below.
1.) Fix the no-clay bug.
Coming.
2.) Move the "change view" selector to the D-Pad, so we dont keep hitting it when we're surprised.
Stop being clumsy.
3.) Add a quick-equip hotkey (shoulder button) for swords and bows.
This would be kind of nice - you can do it on the PC with the numberpad. In the meantime, always put your items in the same slots. My torches are 1, sword 2, bow 3. I always know how many times to click the bumpers to get to the right item.
4.) Add the ability to repair armor.
Get the PC version.
5.) Add experience points/levels.
Get the PC version.
6.) Make clocks mountable.
Make a window. There's a giant clock built into the game.
7.) Make display cases for items.
Like a sword rack? That could be cool.
8.) More food items.
Why?
9.) Fix clouds appearing
No idea what this means.
10.) Ability to squelch dog barking / netherack burnings / ambient (ie non-monster) noises.
No.
11.) Ability to play your own MP3s/music instead of the soundtrack.
You have this ability with the 360 already, don't you?
12.) Make wooden structures float entirely (ie make ships/galleons)
Like a boat or like in the air? Because they already float in the air.....
13.) Add more monster types.
Get the PC version.
14.) Implement a use for the slime balls.
Get the PC version.
15.) Creation of large gates/portcullises.
Get the PC version. Piston doors are fun.
16.) Make clothes craftable.
Why? You have skins that change "clothes".
17.) Make a way to make arrows more powerful.
Get the PC version.
18.) Make TNT much more powerful.
Uh, no.
19.) Craftable statues/suits of armor.
Could be cool.
20.) Craftable fountains.
Make one.
21.) Marble for crafting... walls, stairs, etc.
More blocks?
Get the PC version.
22.) Markable Map for Notes.
Write down your coordinates.... oh, wait, we can't do that yet. I hear that it might be in the next update - coords should show when you hold up your map or something. Get a pen.
... or get the PC version.
23.) Option to ignore a certain resource (ie "Never Pick Up Cobblestone") that can be toggled.
No.
24.) A chicken with thousands of feathers actually gives you more than two.
At least you can still farm zombies for feathers..... that's changing eventually.
25.) Stained Glass.
Could be neat.
1.) Make the world bigger.
Maybe.
2.) Increase line of site.
Get the PC version (and it's sight).
3.) Persistence of creatures. I'm pretty sure once you move like 30 squares away, the creatures you had penned disappear.
Get the PC version.
4.) Online persistent world. Nobody hosts, everyone can just join, and private chests (ie only the owner could open). Naturally this kind of world still would have griefers, but still.
Get the PC version.
Although, I would like to see dedicated servers for the game.... :\
You can play music from your Xbox 360 hard drive or anything else you may have plugged into the console, and the in game music will stop to play your selected music.
12.) Make wooden structures float entirely (ie make ships/galleons)
Like a boat or like in the air? Because they already float in the air.....
Like a boat. I build flying castles all the time. Actually, I imagine a flying castle wouldn't be practical.... part of the benefit of a permanent residence is that it stays put!
If you build above cloud level the clouds float through your house? I don't honestly know. That's funny if they do.
Food is kinda borked at this point - any food item is instant health. It's really sort of semantic to even have more than one type of food - mushroom stew. Restores the highest health and it's fairly easy to create an unlimited supply. Everything else is pretty pointless. In later verions, you can make glistering melons, golden apples and more with food as a crafting item. Additionally, you get a modified food saturation level and other perks for using a variety of food and not just one item.
TNT is situational - it will decimate sand, etc, but not so much with stone. You're right - digging it with a diamond pickaxe (especially with enchantments in later versions) is much faster than TNT. You also don't destroy ores and valuable blocks in the process.
.... but that isn't nearly as fun as setting up a stack of TNT and punching them down into a hole one-by-one. Or several at a time, as the explosions do stack to a certain point. When I "dig" with TNT, I'm digging to clear out an area ASAP without having to pick through everything.
I agree with a VERY few of them. Most of them make no god damn sense. What does structures in the air mean? You can already do that by making a tower and building on it, destroy the tower and you get a floating structure! Craftable fountains? What the hell?
pretty much you just gotta wait till the updates come out. The only reason I didnt buy it was because it was so far behind and missing some of my favorite 1.8 and 1.0 features that I cannot live without anymore, such as enchanting, potions, sprinting, biomes, etc. The only non-version related thing I want to see come to this game are those weird lighting glitches that happen all the time (light not rendering/greenish light) that I kept seeing in the demo version i tried out.
I agree with a VERY few of them. Most of them make no god damn sense. What does structures in the air mean? You can already do that by making a tower and building on it, destroy the tower and you get a floating structure! Craftable fountains? What the hell?
except for craftable clothes and mountable clocks and fountains and floating boats and stained glass and chickens that give you a 1000 feathers
I agree with a VERY few of them. Most of them make no god damn sense. What does structures in the air mean? You can already do that by making a tower and building on it, destroy the tower and you get a floating structure! Craftable fountains? What the hell?
Nearly all of what OP said "made sense", it just appears it doesn't mesh with the way you want to play.
"Floating" doesn't imply fixed, but we know in MineCraft any block placement is pretty fixed. I think he wants structures to actually float - you know, like rubberduckies in a bathtub or balloons in the air....
If they put in golden fountains tomorrow that created water source blocks in each adjacent square..... I'd build 9 of them. For now, I'm fine with a stone square with water in the middle.
Stained glass mood lighting would be great, too. I'd like each room in my home to be blue, red, orange, epilepsy inducing flashing redstone lamps with pistons alternating the colors every second......
Nearly all of what OP said "made sense", it just appears it doesn't mesh with the way you want to play.
Thank you. These folks never seem to take time to read the title. "25 Things *****I***** Would Like To See Changed." Their input of course is appreciated but I certainly am not asking for their approval or their permission.
To quote a sitcom from the 80s, The World Dont Move To The Beat Of Just One Drum. What Might Be Right For You, May Not Be Right For Some.
1.) Fix the no-clay bug. yes
2.) Move the "change view" selector to the D-Pad, so we dont keep hitting it when we're surprised. I hope so
3.) Add a quick-equip hotkey (shoulder button) for swords and bows. Doesn't seem right. You could just place your sword and bow close together on the hotbar.
4.) Add the ability to repair armor.I think we need this
5.) Add experience points/levels. We get that with the adventure update
6.) Make clocks mountable. Would be a cool addition
7.) Make display cases for items.May be good for shops.
8.) More food items. Much more coming in adventure update.
9.) Fix clouds appearing. clouds are placed way up in the adventure update.
10.) Ability to squelch dog barking / netherack burnings / ambient (ie non-monster) noises. Mute sound effects, put out fire, turn off volume.
11.) Ability to play your own MP3s/music instead of the soundtrack. You can already do this... just mute the minecraft music in the settings and plug your mp3 into your xbox. it works with any xbox game.
12.) Make wooden structures float entirely (ie make ships/galleons) might be a good thing to have, but too complicated.
13.) Add more monster types.ye splease
14.) Implement a use for the slime balls. adventure update brings more uses.
15.) Creation of large gates/portcullises.would be nice
16.) Make clothes craftable.Might be better to just have skins in the game, but might be cool to craft different colored "cloth armor"
17.) Make a way to make arrows more powerful. Would be cool
18.) Make TNT much more powerful. not a good idea, but maybe make a second, stronger form of tnt that is harder to make.
19.) Craftable statues/suits of armor. armor stands?
20.) Craftable fountains. you can just build one in the game.
21.) Marble for crafting... walls, stairs, etc. could be nice
22.) Markable Map for Notes. This i would like to see.
23.) Option to ignore a certain resource (ie "Never Pick Up Cobblestone") that can be toggled. This would be very useful. no more inventory filling up with junk.
24.) A chicken with thousands of feathers actually gives you more than two. good point
25.) Stained Glass. That would be really cool, would love to see that.

Hahaha... nice.
I guess cuz it would add more meaning to food in the game.
Hey, you didn't ask for a GOOD reason.
Um, me not finishing my thought. I meant to type out "fix clouds appearing indoors."
Yes, I suppose so.... hm.
Like a boat. I build flying castles all the time. Actually, I imagine a flying castle wouldn't be practical.... part of the benefit of a permanent residence is that it stays put!
That's close enough for me.
I find TNT totally useless in this game. I can easily clear the space it does with a diamond pick in a handful of additional seconds.
As for everyone saying "No," well, I'm not making demands, just saying what I'd like to see.
Just wait and be patient.
