I've notice alot of trolls on here and they have nothing else better to do the troll all day long really. not try to call the kettle black but get out and do something besides troll . I hope there is no sort of stimulation you trolls are getting from that(problems). thanks for the pointers and info but leave the smart a** comments to yourself.
It's the Internet. There is no peace. People are free to post how they want and when they want as long as the post follows the forums rules. I know you attempted to insult me in another post because I asked the purpose of very twitter/facebook type post on a forum for discussing things about the game, but it didn't bother me.
When it comes to this forum, I am extremely blunt because 90% of the time, it is the only way people will understand what you're saying. Many people think being blunt is being rude, but it's not. It's laying down my opinion in a very straight foreward manner without padding it up so peoples feelings aren't hurt. Which if someones feelings are going to be that hurt by what someone says on the Internet, they should probably avoid places where people are free to share their opinions.\

It's nice to see an apology and it shows great maturity to do so.
Of course trolling is part of the community, but it is only allowed if the moderators choose to allow it. I am part of a large sporting forum where the mods are very hard-line on this, and it's great. Trolls are given a quick warning and, if it continues, they are given "warning points" and banned if necessary.
Unfortunately the internet affords us near 100% anonymity, and when people are given anonymity they are free to behave as the please. Which means a lot of people will be tremendously aggressive with no consequence. This is all down to maturity, and a extreme lack of it. I'm aiming this in a general sense, not at you.
However, you say you need to be blunt to get your point across. This is simply not true. Manners and tact can be employed by anyone, choosing not to do it is a personal choice, and one which can rightly bring rebuke. Rebuke brings attention, which of course is the ultimate aim of the troll. They are unable to differentiate and carry enough "power" by their own opinion so they have to resort to trolling to achieve this. Again, this is all down to low levels of maturity and low confidence of the troll him/herself.
Again though, and finally, the power to limit the trolls is down to one group of people only - the moderators. It's hard to make them extinct (the trolls, not the moderators!) but they are the only people with the power to stop this. After all asking a group of trolls with low self esteem, low maturing and a desperate need for attention, to behave themselves, is completely futile.
