In my honest opinion, I think they should have implemented creative first instead of survival, with survival, your limited to what you do, unless if you do this silly glitch, which we all know means you aren't the greatest at the game and you need to cheat....
I just wish to be able to build on a flat land world and build up the terrain myself.

So using creative mode eliminates the fact that you have to use a cheat, but the effect is pretty much the same, isn't it? You get the stuff for free, but using creative mode instead of a cheat makes you the greatest at the game?
Anyway, you obviously haven't been paying attention, the people making the xbox version (which isn't Mojang BTW, I think it is a company called 4J) started when (or just chose to start with) 1.6 was the current PC version. To stay on track, they didn't make any features from new versions. Since there wasn't creative mode in 1.6, that means they didn't put it in the xbox version.

Lol, a game is game... Creative vs survival debates have been plaguing forums forever. Its stale, old and childish on either front. let people play they ways they want to play.
To the OP, if your bored you lack imagination or people to play with.
I'm no fan boy, I'm plenty upset that the dup gets pulled before creative gets implemented or that the version released was so low compared to pc... For the money value its shameful compared to the other far cheaper indies titles that everyone called rip offs. Those rip offs actually look pretty good compared to the released version of MC when you compare prices.
But I still haven't run out of things to do or build in minecraft.

Seatbelts are not as confining as Wheelchairs. Buckle up.
I dislike creative mode...gets boring quickly. I would much prefer hardcore mode, I like things that present a challenge..not a fan of having everything unlocked for me.

This is the one complaint I have never understood....
The Xbox version costs $20 which, I'm pretty sure, is exactly what the PC Beta 1.6 cost when it came out. Why complain about paying $20 when you know you are going to get your moneys worth, for free, when they update the game?
The difference between using the duplication cheat and creative mode is that when you use you use the cheat you need to put your things in a chest and you cant carry that around so your forced to run back and forth from your chest in order to get the materials you need, not to mention the fact that flying and instant block destruction makes building about a billion times easier
Creative Mode was implemented in Beta 1.8 on the PC, and will be implemented in the same update on the Xbox. Fret not, it will be here eventually. My estimation on 1.8's release on Xbox is mid to late fall, leaning towards late. Judging by the release to the 1.7 update, and taking into account the massive update that is 1.8, and Microsoft's lengthy approval process.

What do you think?
