Have you always hated having your best structures griefed by your friends/their friends? Well, there can be a way to stop it! The "Home Security" option!!
This will be stated from the perspective that this has already been added to the game.
When a player goes to the "Options" menu, the item "Home Security" will show up as one of the options that can be togged on or off by check mark. It is unchecked by default. When scrolled onto, a description appears that says, "PLAYER TO PLAYER ACTIONS WILL BE LIMITED FOR SAFETY." I suppose an extra line of code for certain participants' happenings will be created when the option is checked.
This list identifies the limitations:
blocks placed by Player 1 cannot be collected by Player 2
PvP will automatically be deactivated if Player 1 hosts the server
chests placed by Player 1 cannot have their interface opened by Player 2
furnaces placed by Player 1 cannot have their interface opened by Player 2
items dropped by death of Player 1 cannot be collected by Player 2
Please inform me of your opinion, either accepting or constructive criticizing, of my "Home Security." Thank you.
I think this is a little much, especially on the Xbox version where your "friends" should be trustworthy. If you really want home security, then be creative and do it yourself. Secret entrances, lava moats, and dispensors shooting arrows are just some of the things to stop mobs/friends.
