So, I read on a few websites that an update is expected between June 1st-5th.


It's that bug fix update that is incredibly disappointing and apparently we have to wait until bloody JULY to get pistons and shears...


Does anyone know anything about it?? Is it ONLY fixing bugs?

And I like how they fix the duplication glitch so now everyone wanting to build more complex things can no longer do so because we don't have creative mode...

This was a "I wish they would add this" post. Go read it. It's a bunch of people throwing ideas around for an update, it's not anything official or from an offcial source.

The next update is not an update, it's a bug patch. 1.7.3, the next update, comes out in July.

The bug fix update is not only to fix bugs. It is adding a very few things into the game. Like maps will display coordinates like the PC version has in the F3 screen. They are adding an opticity slider to reduce image burn on certain TVs, and some other things. No huge gameplay adds.

1.7.3 in July will bring shears, pistons, and smooth lightning (which is being brought forward from 1.8), fences can be stacked, and many other things. After 1.7.3, they will then do 1.8.2 which will be huge. Just be patient. When people first bought the PC version, they didn't have all of this stuff. Just be happy that it's coming eventually and not at all.

I hope they "UP" the clay block existence in general for all seeds... I have made about 20 different worlds and can't seem to find any, that sucks

The clay and bug fixes will be nice, tired of my game freezing when i change filters on the leaderboard, and i would like a brick house too

I don't know if this is the place to post this but on my world it only rains in certain places is that a bug or is that meant to happen?

That is how rain works. It only rains in certain biomes and not all at the same time.

but its weird like it will be raining and i walk 2 blocks then there will be no rains then move 2 more blocks and its raining its not like im half way across my map and its raining then i go to the other half and its not

That is how rain works. It doesn't rain in some biomes so if you walk into that biome where there is no rain, the rain will just cut off.

you still don't understand this has to be a bug...if i showed you u would think differently im in the same biome so rain should be all over in that place not just in like blocks of 4x4

It's not a bug. The same exact thing happens in the PC and Xbox versions. It's a normal part of the randomly generated terrain. I ahve the same thing on my worlds as do my friends. It's the way the game was made.

well they should fix it anyways its dumb i would like it to rain all over in the biome
