Hey guys, one of the best thing about servers is the ability to use maps and friends to find things and find out where your at..
How do you do it on xbox? there isn't an f3 to hit to pull up what layer or coords... so how do you do it?
Thanks
If you mean navigating the surface of your world, then these things.... Compass, maps, postition of the sun/moon, and the direction the clouds move.
If you are talking about telling what level you are on in the worlds layers, 0-128, that is also easy. Bedrock spawns between 0-6, meaning when you see it, you are in the bottom 6 layers of the map. Then, just count up from there
4J said they were looking into adding coordinates, actually they may have said they are adding it. I don't remember. I think they said it is going to be added to the corner of the map or something.
You don't always have to count up from bedrock - you can count down from sea level (I think someone already mentioned this). Check out the Wiki page on "Altitude" for more hints.

I remember something like that, too. Corner of the map would be cool.
