I was playing by myself online with invite only. I saved my map (twice) and turned off my xbox for about an hour. When I loaded up the file again my character was in a dark cave deep underground with no tunnels leading in or out. To top it off, the room I was in had two creepers and three zombies so every time I loaded the map I was insta-dead on arrival. I finally reloaded the map on Peaceful and dug myself out to find the cave was about 300 m away from my base. My inventory was the same and nothing else changed on the map. I'm not really complaining too much because the cave is expansive and full of gold and iron, but I am a bit confused as to how this happened. I've been playing minecraft since alpha and have never had a save relocate you to a random spot underground on either the pc or the xbox. Has anyone else had this happen to them?
Its actually something that used to happen to me on Java, Prior to turning the xbox (When you saved) where about you?.

I was in another cave underneath my village near the surface.
