well im hoping theres going to be more than 1, would be abit pointless otherwise, what are the chances of everyone liking the same 1 lol
They'll either sell them individually or in a pack like skins. All I know is if they're priced idiotically, they won't be seeing anymore of my money. As much as I love Minecraft and enjoy supporting 4J, 400msp or 800msp for 1 or 2 texture packs would be asinine. I'm really hoping their smarter than that, and Microsoft tries to lessen its greediness like it did with the skin packs.
Make it 1600 points, so all the annoying little kids will disappear from the Xbox Section who are begging their parents for money for Microsoft Points. If you did it correctly, you could've bought all DLC and Minecraft UNDER $30.
I will gladly pay for DLC on the Xbox and I always donate to Skin/Texture Pack makers on the PC, just to let them know their work is appreciated. The ones who are ruining it, are the ones who just download it and profit from all benefits without actually thinking about the amount of time and effort people put into making it for you to enjoy.
Spoiled little brats these days. Never appreciate any work that has been done FOR them. Can't even replace a lightbulb without the help of their parents.
My 2 cents. (For free, now go buy some skinpacks!)
I agree that many people don't pay mind to the hard work that devs put into their work, however charging 1600 points ( the same price as the game) for a texture pack will cause minimal sales and that my friend is the exact opposite of why they set up the price to a reasonable amount that they expect many people to be willing to pay for. I want texture packs as much as the next person, however, I am not going to pay that much for an aesthetic change, and not because I am a greedy kid that doesn't care (I am in the military and I live comfortably) I am just conscious of this amazing thing that is called a budget. You don't have to spend a ridiculous amount of money for a developer to make a great profit, (higher sales lead to higher profit) Charging 4 times what a reasonable amount would be won't make nearly as much profit.
