so basically after 1-2 hours of gaming, me and my friend get tired of building and just jump around our world doing nothing but talking to each other. when we get bored, we simply want to go join some random person's world and check on what they are doing and what they've built. sadly we cant so instead we go play halo or cod.
i really hope they update it so we can join random people's world. it would help this game be more fun in so many different ways.
1. obviously the first reason is so we can check out what other people build
2. we can "show off" what is in our world
3. in my situation id be able to join some1 and play minecraft even when my friend is offline. the world is on his acc.
4. we can meet new people and maybe become friends who play on each others world.
if they don't give this type of update i personally dont think this game is all that great. me and my friend has built an entire medieval village with like 5 medieval houses, 1 castle, and 1 watchtower. we also built a couple farms, a lighthouse, an apartment, a rollar coaster, and a few other things. so after building all this we are like "ok so who can we show this to".
you might say to yourself "well what if people join just to destroy all your ****". this is why total miner was a cool game with its little features like permissions. basically the host only gave out permissions to who can edit or use tnt and stuff like that. in fact i still play total miner. its very sad because minecraft is such a better game but at least i can join random servers.
(and no, checking the forums to join someone's server is not a feasible option. im not going to come here everyday, read someones thread, remove someone off my list, and then type someone's gamertag to add them on my list just to probably remove them later on)
it is sad i exuasted my map me and about 10 other players built all we wanted. when you talk about total miner make me want to get on it. i bought it never gave it a chance fortress craft gave me a headache total miner seems very simular to Minecraft. The sad thing is these sevelopers dont have near as much money asMinecraft and yet they manage to out shine them with.features. this update wait is redonkulous why realease a game with so little planned out and tell us this is a hard change to 1.8 when it should of be figured out

you can't just copy and paste the code from the pc to the xbox as the pc is java and xbox is objective-C, and also they have to create new code for the xbox interface, and they have to figure out what each part of code is doing in the game so that they can make sure its works properly.
I have found on this forum that there seems to be an inverse correlation between punctuation use and understanding how game production works.

Multiplayer I guess could work like you think it should. As long as you are able to set a preference on who can actually join.
