So i have the PC version, and i have loved it to death over the past half year. I still play it, and i do really enjoy it, but i was wondering if i should get the 360 version. Personally, i think the game on PC has gotten a little stale, but i do still in joy it, i am just not marathon-ing it like i used to.
I have a good headset, but it has not been working, so i don't think i will be able to talk to any of my friends whilst playing right now.
If it means anything, i do have an HDTV.
Please tell me your thoughts, and opinions on the 360 version.
Personally, I'm liking this game on the 360 way more than I ever did on the PC, but I'm also not much of a PC gamer, so I don't know if that really says much. I dunno... There's just something about sitting back on the couch to play on a big LCD that really makes it fun for me. Doesn't hurt that it doesn't really have any lag or framerate hiccups, either.
Honestly, I enjoy the XBOX version, and I think it was worth it, but I still have to say I like PC version better. If they updated the XBOX version, I think it'd be much better for my taste.
I only played a bit of Minecraft on the PC and Pocket Edition, but since MC for the xbox came out I've been playing for hours on end. Something really clicked for me when I picked it up for 360, and I'm in love with the game
Absolutely worth it. I played the free trial to death and have already spent countless hours on the game in just the couple of weeks I've had it. Already paid for itself if you ask me.
I guess it's all about your perspective... If you have a PC that will run the newest version,. with no hiccups, and like gaming at your PC, then you're burning your cash. But if you have a slower PC, or just like Minecrafting while laid back with a wireless controller in your hand, then the XBLA version is your dream come true..... as long as you are prepared to wait for the updates to bring it up to snuff with the current PC version.

i personally like the xbox and pc versions of minecraft and was well worth my 1600 MS points. I can play the pc version of the game at like 120 fps, but i've grown to like the xbox version mainly becuase its based on 1.6.6 which is good for me becuase i prefer the lack of endermen and hunger bar
I'd definitely recommend it. We're in the Minecraft Forums, though, and in the Xbox Section -- so you're likely to get biased responses. But in my opinion, definitely worth it. Hope to see you on Xbox soon!
Only disappointment is the fact the release X360 version pre 1.8, and getting to that point is going to suck. You'll definately miss the features the PC had, but I still love it.
Its ok and if you have points to burn then fine get it, but you'll find the tiny world size very restricting and you'll probably miss many things from the pc version.
120 fps isnt bad, its very playable at that.
imo Minecraft only gets 'unplayable' at under 40-45 fps. 120 is nice
LOL i play at about 15fps with normal distance, and normal (not fancy)
with all of the options on to enhance my FPS too.
Yes it's worth the money. I can't figure out why anyone would think otherwise. My kids and I have played this game just about every night since it came out and it hasn't lost it's funness (yes, I know...not a word). Plus, there will be future updates. Good deal overall.

Good god, 120 fps?
At the moment, no. 360-version was at least 1.0.0 (by ending, etc.), then yes, it would cost her $ 20.
More and more, I find people who either don't know it exists or refuse to download the free trial...

So yea it well worth it along with the future update being free of charge
But be warned this game is very addictive!
