its possible...I would settle for being able to choose which one of the pre-designed ones I want to be when I spawn into a game...really don't care that much, except for the shorty shorts steve.
Kind of surprised it doesn't let us choose a skin. It's weird to be the default skin 90% of the time, a tennis player sometimes, a scotsman the next, and Neil deGrasse Tyson wearing an epic medallion the time after that.
Yeah... whose bright idea was it to make the tennis guy player 2. The most common guy. I'm always playing with Tennis Guy or I am Tennis Guy, even worse. And he looks like such a tw*t.
I really wish they'd make a skin editor... That would be great. But I'd be willing to pay for a skins pack if it was varied and had a lot of them in it. At least we'd be able to somewhat customize our avatars.
Yes but DLC is not. The game updates (version updates and bug fixes) are free, and if they implement the option to choose one of the eight Steves in the 1.7.3 update, that will be free. However if they release skins in DLC packs, they will cost money. It really just depends on if and how 4J decides to roll out player skins
i cannot wait for the 1.7.3 update, i wish they made like a custom skin editior INGAME! like you dont need a usb stick, you can just create your skins ingame
I don't understand how they can't do something similar to the system they have got on PC, where you upload the skin you want to the minecraft website and from there it changes it in game? Don't make them DLC, what a waste of money that would be having to pay for PREMADE skins that you can't even customise
See there's a problem with that. That's the censoring. I mean if you put a curse word or something on a sign they're able to easily censor it (Microsoft's policy not 4Js). But if we're able to customize our own skin from PC what's stopping us from running around as naked avitars. It's not really a problem for Saints Row 3 because it's a game were you can beat people with a giant dildo but Minecraft is still a jewel Microsoft is putting in front of familys and they dont want innapropriate stuff running around in it.
I know it's annoying and stupid but that's the best answer I can give to why we might not be able to do that.

Or maybe they'll just say, don't play with random people you don't know, if you want to than that's your risk. Only invite people you trust and stuff.
