Ok the reason why? Duplication glitch, doesn't matter if you actually did yours "legit" or not. Yes it's hard for legit players not wanting to get theirs reset but you can always do it again plus your rank would have less numbers than you do now saying you have.. #7572 and your real rank is #634; want the cheated system or the cleaned system? Think wisely and also they do not have to reset every score but just the specific ones duplication glitch have impacts on.
WARNING: Duplicators will defiantly say NAO without a reason or an stupid excuse! You must leave a reason why if you vote NAO otherwise yours does NOT COUNT!
TRAVELING Rail Can build as much as you want with unlimited rails, so do I need to explain how you got all those materials and traveling more than 100km..?
MINING BLOCKS Diamond pickaxe I don't think this affects that much but still..
FARMING Seeds, Buckets, and Canes Planting in a single long line and torturing poor cows by milking them continuously.. sadface:(
MOBS Arrows Spam arrows on mobs to increase score kills faster Diamond Armor weapons/armor to last longer to live and kill easily
OTHERS TNT Too lazy to mine? Blowing all big holes to show tunnels/minerals you need?

Since I've mined 2500+ obsidian blocks, which must be right up at the top (all legit too, I don't even have any xbox friends to do the dupe glitch with LOL). I'd hate to lose that statistic. I spent more than a few 12+ hour days extending water sources all the way to the far edges of lava lakes to turn all the blocks to obsidian one layer at a time and then mining the entire lake away, 6 or 7 levels deep. Yeah, I'm nuts. haha
I've been near the top of the mining leaderboad since the day it came out. I think I'm still in the 200's, which is because I've gotten into other things now that I've build up some resources - building my elevated rail network, for one thing. That's taken time away from increasing my mining stats.
I wish you could sort each column in the leaderboard. I'd love to see who's mined the most obsidian.
I just checked, I'm 298 in mining - 36,580 stone is the big number. That's a lot of pickaxeing! And I'm 377 in traveling, which should go up now that I've built a total of about 2 km of rail that I'm riding all the time. But I'm ranked 13,000+ in farming. That's never gonna change because farming is utterly useless right now except to increase stats, and I have too much mining to do.

I wouldn't bother reseting obsidian since duplication really has no effect on them. Only the specific ones I mentioned on the list got big impact on them so yours is defiantly fine
Something is really messed up with the leaderboards.
Go to kills - which can NOT be "duped" obviously... change the filter so you see the leaders. They all have the max (65535) for EVERY category.
Apparently they've been hacked. This must be more than just "duping" glitches.
Speaking of the kills leaderboard... what is the third category from the right? Never seen that mob before. It looks like a skeleton riding a spider? WTH?
Same with traveling too - the top leaders all have 2147484 km for every statistic. Ridiculous.
I still vote to leave em alone. I don't really care about the leaderboard, but it is a nice tally of what I've done so far. I'd hate to see it reset because I only really care about my own records (selfish obv).

Speaking of the nether... why aren't ghasts on the kills leaderboard? I was so proud to take one down with a bow and arrows! But I soon realized what a pointless, frustrating battle I was fighting... and resorted to cheating to get all my glowstone and soul sand... meaning, of course, that I change to peaceful mode every time I go into the nether now.

No because some people earned their stats legitly. Just because a few people did stuff with cheats shouldn't reset those who did it farily. Also who cares about leaderboards on a game like minecraft ?
Resetting the LeaderBoard would effect many legit users that have put time into actually playing the game. I'm a gamer and I'm part of a Xbox modding community and they have programs the can change the amount of items and which items you have. Also there is a leaderboard stat changer out there also. Resetting really won't help when there are modders.

Yes but you're asking to show your rank at #5236 instead of your real rank at #426.. cheaters/hackers don't have a big number impact on them but duplication glitch did.. Fine, I voted no because the leaderboards don't matter to me. I cared about this topic to share my opnion on the situation. My opinion is "I don't care". My suggestion is to just remove the leaderboard because the duping and hacking aren't the leaderboards only problems.
Your going to hate me but im with the other guys. Id say I dont care but sense thats not an option, Its a No. World leaderboards on minecraft are pointless.
Its fun to compare with friends but if anyone is taking the world leaderboards seriously we need to have a talk.
Traveling:
Anyone can 'boost' the rail riding leaderboards by putting a few rails in a line or circle and riding it back and forth. I have a friend that created a rail system shooting 500+ meters in a stright line in a few seconds near the bottom layers of the map then your able to press a single button and shoot back. It took him less than a day to make it all legit.
Mining blocks:
That same friend that made the mine got a ton of diamonds (an easy 30+). He could turn them diamonds into pickaxes and get just as many just as fast. Dupt glitch doesnt really seem to affect it much
Farming: "Planting in a single long line and torturing poor cows by milking them continuously"
Thats a basic farm. Easy to make legit just as it is dupted. A single bucket can milk and empty over and over.
Mobs:
Arrows - True.. that could be very helpful but they would still have to manually kill each mob. Id be more concerened with the people with 32,233,553 kills than the guy with 1,200.
Armour - Armour in 1.2.5 is near useless. It helps but a invo full of cooked pork is better and easier.
Other:
TnT - "Blowing all big holes to show tunnels/minerals you need?" If you use TnT to blow up resources I dont beleive it will count will it? Otherwise it would destory more resources than it would uncover for you to mine. It would be easier to dig a spiral down or start a diamond mine and run into a cave that way.
