I hate the dupe glitch, it makes mining boring. So, I promised not to use it for ANYTHING but one thing I choose. I chose: TNT.
The satisfaction of digging a straight hole down to bedrock then filling each spot with TNT and creating HUGE holes makes me happy. I plant to level my whole map.

I dont like it that much my self. So i just made a different world with it so i can build my big buildings,city's,villages,etc.. But i have my legit worlds where i have not done no glitches.
If you are going to dupe anything, dupe clay/bricks/brick blocks. Honestly, with the odds of getting clay on maps extremely low in this version, why not?

Zombie, Skeleton, Spider, Slime, Pigmen, Ghast, or Creeper... which is your favorite and which is your least favorite?

I guess I'd have to find ONE in order to dupe it?
I think I'd dupe pumpkins, since we can't grow em in this version. I like the lights you can make with em. I have plenty of glowstone lamps, but when you move em they break. The pumpkins pop back into your inventory. I built a big pyramid and I have a pumpkin at the top and one at each corner. Lights up the area around the base quite nicely. Can see it from a good distance. But that's it - five whole pumpkins. I've searched everywhere and I did find two more. Seven pumpkins in my whole world. Kinda sad.
Can't think of anything else I really want/need that I don't have or can't find. But I'm not planning to dupe anything. It is what it is, and I'll deal with it.
I've searched my entire world for clay... probably spent 8 or 9 hours doing searching specifically for that material. Checked all the bodies of water, even underground and underwater. I've concluded that my world has no clay.
However, I have duplicated my cocoa beans. I refuse to make anything out of them, because cookies are bad for you, and brown wool is ugly.
I haven't used the Dup glitch, for one reason, once you usethe glitch, it takes the fun away and also, you rely on it thereon.
Unless you have the will power to not use it again.
Messed around with the dupe glitch on a friend's world, then haven't since.
We all determined at about the same time that it was "F'n boring" and then made traps for each person's house and tried to blow them all up simultaneously. That was fun, I'll admit.
Although I was tempted to use the dupe glitch a few times (especially when I actually found two blocks of clay once; seed 888), I haven't done it yet. If I did, that world would somehow feel "tainted" to me, for lack of a better word, and I sure wouldn't like that.

Is it a chicken or is it a duck? - It's a chuck, because dicken sounds stupid.

Yeah cocoa beans is another good candidate. Except I agree, crafting any food is pointless since pork chops are massively plentiful. And brown wool is "relatively" easily found because brown sheep DO spawn infrequently. I think I have about 30 blocks of each of the sheep wool colors (except pink of course, far fewer of them to be found). I def don't need cocoa beans for brown wool at this point.
Sure I'll think of a few more items I could dupe. But I doubt I ever will, for the reasons stated here in this thread. It's more challenging and fun to NOT cheat at the game (well, except for using peaceful mode which I finally had to do in the nether... that's only semi-cheating tho haha).
I duped, and I'm proud, duped wool, got tired of farming it, I do a lot of pixel art in game for fun, and when using 25x27 blocks minimum it is time consuming to farm, I'm on picture number 9 now, but this is just for fun, for gameplay my friends and I don't glitch, and if i did, it would be for clay. I won't lie, I was upset when I was stuck using obsidian due to lack of clay, you could load/save the totural world and use it, you get 9 bricks that way, and some pre built houses.
i created a world and after 3 hours of playing with another player he got bored and griefed my house......burned it right down......so i kicked him...went to his house to burn it down cuz i was angry and what not and his basement was full of double chests filled with obsidian and diamond blocks.......so i did what any normal pissed off guy would do.......i went and salvaged what was left of my house and moved into his.....now i have a diamond block pyramid and an obsidian wall surrounding my town......sweet.

You should've loaded it all into your inventory before quitting and never going back.
I glitch for steps because it's stupid to use six blocks for four stairs that, when broken, only give your four blocks back. So I set three blocks next to each other in my inventory to make four stairs -- exactly the conversion rate it should use.
i feel the same way tbh i duped alot and now minecraft became a little bit boring so i will save my self by deleting my old world n start new like a virgin lolz. but yea i regret it so much =/, good thing i can get over it and still love minecraft for what it is. now all i gotta do is to try and understand redstone derp

Fight glitches with Glitches.
