My friend and I were going to have a war down the middle of our unused old map. But there was one problem: we could see where we were on the map (flash on the name) is there anyway to take that off?

each player has the option to hide themselves from the map

pause > options

although the player tag (thing above your in game character) will still be visible within a certain range, unless you crouch
