I have read on a few sites that if you hit bedrock and stack 127 layers of dynamite on it. When you detonate it you will be able to enter the Void....
However I just tried it a few times and not only did it not work, but you are only allowed to stack 125 squares tall.
I have read that it works on IGN, SuperCheats, Gamefaqs and elsewhere. No one has created a video of someone doing this either so I'm stumped as to whether or not you can do this. The only videos are of PC players breaking it. Then again, Minecraft hasn't been out very long for the 360 and it's more than likely that this TNT trick is all just someone trying to be funny.
Yes, you can. Sometimes, bedrock doesn't always generate where it should. Sometimes, you can find just regular stone or an ore where bedrock should be. That allows you to mine it and enter the void. Although, I don't understand the big draw of entering a place that will only kill you and servers no other purpose than death.

127 layers. The key word is layers. Look it up on YouTube. You literally have to replace every layer of your world with TNT in order to blast bedrock away.
If I remember correctly to destroy bedrock you need all the explosions to happen simultaneously against the block of bedrock you wish to break. It basically has to be constant damage or else the damage on it resets. But since all the blocks of TNT have to be against it you cannot actually break it since you cannot fit more than like 26(I think. I'm tired so my math might be wrong. 3 x 9 is 27 which is how many blocks are in a 3x3x3 cube. Minus one to account for the block of TNT that has to be in the center and you get 26) directly against it. But back then it was theoretically possible to break it if you could get the amount of TNT against it.
Hope all that made sense.
Although I think it was later changed to just be completely unbreakable(except in creative obviously).
I could be wrong. But I remember this discussion from when Minecraft on PC was technically still in Beta.
Edited the first paragraph for poor elaboration on my part >.>
I personally would like to enter the void because I personally did not know what it was, I am new to Minecraft. Thanks for posting, now I know it's a complete waste of time yayyyyy for input!

If that's so, congratulations...
Does anyone have any input?
My guess is, like you said, is that they are assuming the PC version is like the 360 version.
Just wondering if maybe anyone knew anything more about this. hmmmm

The only way to get to the void on the 360 version is if bedrock generates incompletely. No amount of TNT will break bedrock.
Its actually a pretty awesome trash can.
There is no achievement for entering the Void on the PC. There are achievements for The End and The Nether, neither of which are the Void.
Hope all that made sense.
