Has anyone found themselves in one large mine (cave) where they found a ton of great resources?
What are your experiences?
Just below my house I have found a HUGE network of caves that left me with 30 diamonds and 3 stacks of gold, as well as 6-7 stacks of iron. Haven't been more than 200 blocks away from the home when mining.
Just recently I found 9 diamonds, a ton or iron ore and gold ore and some redstone for my tracks. It was pretty good, and I didn't even look through the whole thing, since I had already spent 3 hours in there.
Under my house I have found well over a stack of diamonds, 5 stacks of gold, 10 stacks of iron, 40 stacks of coal, 2 stacks of lapis lazuli, more then enough red stone. And yet, no end to this cave yet. Takes my about 10 mins to find where I left off at
i once found a HUGE cavesystem. i explored it, then explored the lower parts, then found more and more passages. eventually i found an abandoned mineshaft. i went inside it and mined until i was full of minerals and had thrown my cobble out. finally, after a week(IRL) i was throwing my axe and other stuff out. finally, i tunneled straight up and emerged, into an ocean. not pleasant. and i was less than a hundred blocks from home!
I had one literally under my house. The entrance was right in there, so I didn't even need to leave my room It had a couple diamonds, tons of gold, and like 4-5 stacks of iron and coal. Unfortunately, I was saving the map and my power went out, corrupting the file.
