Eventually they'll have to start charging. I know they'd like to update for free, but once the freebies run out, releasing an update on xbox is freaking expensive. Ridiculously so.

Updates are FREE. They make the money off of the Dlc and the thousands of games they sold of it.

this has already been solved its something 4j has to do not us
They haven't set a specific date for any DLC releases yet. In fact they're trying to keep quiet about all that especially the "Xbox Exclusive" features. I'm just taking a shot in the dark here and I'm guessing we'll see DLC between July and sometime in the fall/winter when they release 1.8. As for how much they'll cost it all depends on what type of DLC it is. Things like texture packs will probably be a few hundred points while "mods" (if they make it into this game) will be slightly more.
I believe when they said there is no price for DLC. All updates are free.
Title updates are free but unforunately we'll have to pay for new textures and such. It really isn't that bad though because even the people who choose not to buy the DLC will still be able to play the game and receive new things like pistons.

Dlc will likely be around 80 - 240 Microsoft points ( atleast thats all i will pay )
They are two completely different things. 4J has already said that updates are free, DLC will not be free.
Ahh makes sense.... But I see it is always the people with under 10 posts that post "when will there be dlc?!?!?" Trololol
