i decided to take the lazy approach and jus kept playing my tutorial seed and tinker it a bit.... now i have the village completly coverd by a wood floor with another village being built on top of it and i joined and island with the land mass with the village on it and made a giant cobblestone road to my village ....has anybody else messed around or changed thier tutorial seed

Nope...I never used the tutorial village lol...I only played a little before I bought it to see how it was first but then I took the traditional approach and survived on my own map :). Now I'm working on something larger than it anyways, I have a decent wall up (over 1k blocks and i still need at least 3 more layers for completion) and a small city is forming slowly. I guess It wouldn't feel like minecraft to me if I used the tutorial map..I mean sure theres NPC villages out there in the PC version but it was never that developed to the point of the TUT version. Doesn't feel right to me, although it does look nice and they had to have worked a little on the look of it though.
