At least they are not keeping us in suspense. I know pistons are part of the update, but does that mean there will be sticky pistons too, or will we have to wait longer for those beauties?
Once they get 1.8 out, the Xbox version will probably catch up very fast.
I just read an article in OXM that said that 1.8 is probably going to take the longest just because of all the changes that took place in it. That one I would expect won't be out till sometime around the holidays
Is it just me or does that sound pretty awful? Two months to port a small already made update? Really?
Im sure 4J and Microsoft have their reasons, but I will admit that it does seem like quite a bit of time. My only thought is that they are making sure the bug fix TU works properly, release it in a few weeks, then make sure they have everything in order for 1.7 and release the update early-mid July. Any later than mid July would seem a bit ridiculous
It's really gonna take them 2+ months from release date just to add pistons? What's the holdup? Someone needs to get on the ball over there.
No, there is going to be a bug update, and 4J is also looking to bring other fixes from 1.8, into the 1.7.3 update as well. That updated did more than just add pistons, mind you, as this update is everything that happened in Minecraft PC between 1.6.6 and 1.7.3

It was announced during the stream that was held a few hours ago with Roger Carpenter.
So I guess at this rate, we'll get enchanting by the time the xbox 720 is out? =/
