just wondering is their a certin way to come up with a map seed like if you type 501 the 501 is a certin code that gerates a snowy area on the map. ive been thinking about this for a Long time every seince the seed update came out because ive always wanted to discover my own world. so if theirs some kind of weird code for this i would like to know, PS: im sorry if this doseint make since this isint something i know how to type, but if you understand this by allmeans tell me please.
People requesting a seed that's completely landlocked should try 1982777279.
The map has flat areas and mountains in really good balance, and the arrangement of the biomes feels almost realistic. The north is mostly winter with flat areas, some gentle sloping areas and some mountains. The spawn is at the foot of a big mountain surround by relatively flat forest, with sand and lava nearby. The middle third of the map is mainly forest and the south is mainly desert and plains. There is a small section of islands to the west. Main downside to the map is (as far as I can tell) very little clay.
I'd really like to find a seed that is almost exactly the same (esp with wintery north) except with a bit more islands and clay.
Just tried this seed and pretty impressed with it.
Happen to know the coordinates for any dungeons? Or anything of interest?
I can't seem to get a single one of these to work. My brother and I started playing yesterday and have tried about 4 or 5 seeds and none of them were like advertised. Are we doing something wrong somehow?

Be sure you are entering the seed EXACTLY as listed. Capitalization counts!

Seed name is :tacovendor
I have just started this new seed thought I would try my GT name, alot of spire type of moutains with alot of caves(haven't explored them yet for resourses), upper left side of the map has alot of sandy areas with quit a few lagoons but the big new is I have found over 250 clay blocks and I havent even looked in the other areas yet... hit me up it you want to join
I put this seed in and you spawn near a mountain walk a little bit if you dont see any flat land turn aroun there is about 500X500+space mabye more so i
Have you tried pouring water out of a bucket yet on "worstseedever"? Cause every time I've tried to pour water out on that seed it just disappears. I can collect it but then when I go to pour it out I'm left with an empty bucket and no water anywhere to be seen. "worstseedever" is the only seed this has ever happened to me in.
There's a seed called worstseedever (I think) and there's a surface dungeon that you will spawn near if not then mine all sand blocks and it will appear and there's a bit of gravel mine around there and should b a dungeon right next to the first dungeon
I think this is the world I am currently working in and I would like to say that there is at least one huge cave system under the main continent near the center of the map and at least 2-4 Mob spawner/dungeuns scattered about the world. The world is rich in Coal and Iron, has a good amount of gold but not too many diamonds that I have found thus far. (I've been mostly on the surface or not very deep down into the caves) There is a good amount of lava and underwater rivers, too. One thing that made me and my friends sad though was that there is not a single Cacti to be found, even in the one sandy region on the map. Also, the main snowy continent in the middle/bottom right is not overly mountainous, therefore allowing for easy terraforming!
Edit: Also, how does one create/submit a seed and take screenshots..? PM me the answers, please and thank you! :3
Started my 2nd world today. I was facing water, on a thin beach. I turn around, and found a huge hollowed out hill face, with a cave right at the top which has spawned monsters in the first 5 minutes (broad daylight) that's how dark it is under that overhang. I walk about one minute from the spawn and found a dungeon above ground. 2 saddles and some food items, plus a spider spawner for string for bows and fishing rods!
UPDATE: Some of the sickest hills I've seen yet. And a huge clay deposit (200+ pieces) due west of spawn (down on the map, but follow the sun to the hook beach on your map).
UPDATE: This seed is a *******. There is a tremendous cavern system almost straight down from spawn (X39, Z-105), but it is swimming with mobs. Exposed diamonds in sight, but I can't get to them because skeletons are spawning faster than I can take them out. I am determined to NOT go Peaceful on this map, but I'm not seeing a lot of options. The colossal landscape shifts are reflected in the caves (alot of high nooks and crannies to get sniped from). If this had been my first seed, I probably would have rage quit the game for good by now LOL
UPDATE: There are five slime chunks beneath the spawn, all connected, and a sixth one within one chunk's distance. Seriously twisted seed.
UPDATE: This seed continues to baffle me. There are at least a half dozen cave systems that make the first cave system I found seem like a divot on a golf course. There are huge clay deposits around, so much so that I have six stacks of brick blocks just waiting to be used. Twice I have found areas where blocks have glitched (gravel that regenerated three seconds after I dug it out, and a tree that continued to regenerate leaves even while on fire, which impressed me so much I built a monument to the Eternal Tree). If you dig down at X=41, Z=344, when you reach Y=23 you should find a hollow room with each of the four walls identical in shape (if not composition) that if found in real life could not possibly be a natural creation. I feel like I stumbled upon a lost temple or burial chamber, but Iknow that temples aren't on MCXBL yet. The only disappointment of this seed thus far is that for all the caves I have explored (some for real life days) that were filled with exposed resources (I have almost matched about what I mined in my first seed without even beginning a proper mine) I have yet to find a dungeon after finding the first one exposed above ground.
UPDATE: I reloaded the world to take some unblemished screenshots and was spawned slightly south of where I originally spawned. I took pictures of the spider dungeon, and was promptly killed by spiders, having not actually crafted a weapon yet. When I exited without saving and reloaded again, I spawned on top of a tree 40 blocks above sea level. This map is weird.
Currently looking for a seed with lots of islands, not really a large continental region. Anyone have a seed that contains this? Don't really care about the rest
Seed -2041803145 has vast FLAT areas, with a large central land mass, that takes up the majority of the map, with a few small islands. There are large caverns with all materials readily accessable with very little mining. There is a central desert, and a small snow biome with enough fir trees to get a grove going. Excellent for building villages, or cities. I also found 48 pumpkins, the most in any seed I have tried so far!
Original Credit goes to Alchemilla for starting this seed list. It wouldn't exist without you!
MC (XBLA) Best Seeds List
This is an updated list containing Seeds that work for the 360, and their descriptions. It's a Thread for sharing some of the best (or most interesting) seeds known to the 360 edition with the Minecraft Community, or even to simply share a seed which meets a specific requirement wich is hard to find (i.e. has all biomes). Obviously It depends on the community itself to keep this thread active. I will be in charge of listing each seed and it's description given, but I can not guarantee a description is 100% accurate, or correct. I can only compile what information is given, and if you feel any descriptions are misleading or false, you can inform me about it.
If you are going to list a Seed, please leave a detailed enough description so it will give other players a general idea of what to expect. If you simply write a seed and state it's awesome, then it is not going to be added to the list. Images help greatly, and all screenshots of a particular seed will be featured in the descriptions of the seed they are relevant to. Also, I believe seeds are case sensitive, so please ensure the casing you use is correct!
The List
LIGHTER FLUID(Posted by Balpherus)
Viewed from a grassy knoll, a cross hangs high above a valley of epic proportions, and yet from the wrong angle it hides from view camouflaged by the mountain beyond. Generous proportions of landscape are cut into the air by sand driven mountains and a spectacularly large looking cave entrance; though it is just a folly, it makes for a shadowed part of the journey through this land. Look up at the back of this shadowy hole, and their high above is a glimmer of sunlight. One might be think that this would be the ideal place to build a first settlement even with the lack of trees. This map has so far had 4 mob spawners.
Most of the map is covered with snow and massive mountains. Greenery and some desert along the edges of the map.So far I have found pumpkins and sugar..then fell into a hole a bit north west of my marker and found water and lava near by each other..
It contains many extreme hills. There are quite a few hills that extend above the cloud line. There are some rather large waterfalls scattered throughout the map, as well as one decent sized lava flow. In the top left corner of the map there is a decent amount of desert biome, and in the bottom middle/right, there is a decent sized snowy area. The first cave I found was very expansive even without me having to dig through walls, and I encountered two dungeons just in that cave. I found 20 diamonds, 200(!) iron and a nice bit of gold in about 10-15 minutes of digging. Very iron rich world.
The north section looks a lot like the screenshot for celtic. I have spawned this seed many times to check, and the north continent contains a gigantic, hollow dome with grass floor, almost the size of that mountain in the above post.
The dome has a hole in the top to let the sun in, at the base are two trees, directly under the sunlight. There is a hole on the north side of the dome that lets you watch the moon rise. Additionally, I have found that there is a waterfall on the west inside of the dome approximately 33% of the time.
The north continent of this seed has absurdly huge mountains that go from cloud level down to sea level. There are an above-average amount of trees as the name suggests. The southern landmass is more pedestrian, with a big desert area in the southwest that has one tiny waterfall oasis and a small-medium floating hill over a pool of water. The southeast is a typical tree and grass area.
Another seed posted by Balpherus, but no description given. Judging from the screenshots though, this is an amazing looking seed and deserves a place at the top of this list.
fill 'er up: This seed starts you fairly close to a lava pool that can be seen as a red dot near the center of the map.The large northern part of the map consists of massive mountains that touch the sky and then shear off sharply at the top of the map.
So far I have found 3 lava flows, one of which is twinned with a waterfall by a small lake. My map marker is at the lava/waterfall spot in the screenshot. A perfect place to build a house. I also ran across a scattering of pumpkins, a cave of mushrooms and deep valleys. To the south the land breaks up and becomes a bit flatter, pocketed by holes and tunnels. Snow, desert, mountains and forest. It's worth a look.
It is a pretty great seed. Lots of mountains, cliffs. Several major cave systems and so far I have found one dungeon. It's pretty heavy on resources, I have found lots of coal, iron, redstone, many others.
All the best stuff is along the edges of this seed. The epic part of this map is at coordinates(ish)= x=350,y=200. Find the biggest freaking mountain near there. Climb it. Head west and jump off into the lake. Turn around and there's a freaking lavafall falling down from halfway up the mountain into the lake. The lava fall is about 35 blocks or more high, and the big mountain chain is twice that. There are 3-4 other epic parts of this map. The sheer size of the mountains and overhangs is ridiculous. Lots of waterfalls and a few lavafalls.
It's a well-rounded seed with snow, beach, and forest, as well as a good amount of ocean. But the one excellent thing about this seed is its giant ice-capped mountain in the north-central area. It has unobstructed views on all sides, and a small hole that lets you jump into the waterfall on its south face. The south face has a signature ring-shaped overhang that's impossible to miss from ground-level.
I'm on a mountain that has its top at the same level as the clouds. A cloud has just gone through me. There are big mountains everywhere, and lots of sand. There is a narrow bridge between two of the biggest mountains. This is magnificent.
Very nice mountains on the western continent with big plateaus facing south. And it has a very nice floating island near the center of the continent. There is another mountain that looks VERY similar to the one that the waterfall can spawn on. Don't be fooled, the waterfall will be on the mountain that has a sheer drop under its southern shelf.
At the north end of the northwest continent, there is a hole in the ground that has moss stone, a mob spawner and a chest in it. If you dig straight down (very far) from inside this hole, you should find a gigantic cave system. I had to go 5-10 blocks northwest but it's very close to vertical. This cave system had (for me) 3 different obsidian deposits, diamonds, redstone, coal, iron, gold, and lapis all available at the point of entry. Also, exploring the caves revealed 3 more monster spawners with 4 more chests, and every one had plenty of moss stone. .
lots of snow basically the hole map lol lots of trees, sand & basically everything. If you use a capital S it's another large snow biome but in a different configuration.
snak also give snow biomes but a lot smaller.
Has a nice island structure + big cannons with waterfalls. Lower left of the map, is where I have built my new house, there are large cave veins with crap loads of coal in them. (I mean loads oO)
This seed creates a world with amazing mountains of sand, masses of rock-work filled with trees and generated caves. A great starting point for your next mining adventure.
As I entered the world generated by this seed I was immediately drawn to this natural tunnel of stone and dirt, what an awesome place to carve out a castle or build a house on top of it!
Kevin9809 did not post any information about the seed other than a screenshot, but the screenshot certainly reveals a nice view. Probably worth a mention.
Alot of floating blocks, strange terrain formations, weird mountains and trees. Also has some nice archways over water channels. Has a natural cobblestone generator near the spawn and some pumpkins and cacti towards the west side of the map. Just expect to do some terraforming if you want to build anything major, though.
Spawned in a forest, close to a beach. What I like about this seed is the huge cave systems. I have found over 200 iron/40 gold/1 diamond/120+ redstone/40+ lapis. This is in one cave system. The forest has spans of mid to very lofty hills. Wide areas of beach. There is also a snowy hill region but I have not ventured out much, just down. I've seen one overhang so far. I should point out I am playing on peaceful. Also I am new to MC so I do not know what a dungeon looks like in relation to a deep cave. Incredibly complex caves that require little to no digging to get started. Expanses branch off, sometimes up to explore. Lava and waterfalls aplenty.
World 1(Posted by nipon621)
World 1 has a very tropical feel, mostly due to the abundance of trees, sand, grass, water and stone all mashed together. It basically consists of atolls and 3 main land masses. There are three reasons you should look into it. One of them is the otherwise floating mountain which is supported by three rock formations - it overlooks the ocean. Next is a pillar of stone 1 block wide that goes nearly up to the skybox - a big tree is growing on top of it. Thirdly, there is a perfectly sized eroded island nearly in the middle of the map, but pretty close to a main island - it has exposed coal, and would be perfect for a modest tower fortress (not barad dur). Alas, there is no snow on the map though...
WhatinTheHeck??(Posted by Mean_JT)
I like it cause is has all three major climates . Big snowy mountain on the lower right. Big epic sand and stone mountain on the upper right that goes into and above the clouds. Lots of exposed ore ready to be mined. Lots of forest in between the two with very large trees ready to cut down.. Near the base of the snow mountain is a flat lava pool so large it can be seen on the map as a red spot. Along with that there are a few other lava pools and and lava flow. There was only one pumpkin that I found during a quick run through. But lots of cactus and sugarcane and sheep. I don't know if the spawning was just random or what, but I collected over a stack of white wool just from running around for a few minutes. Just found this seed last night so I still checking out the cave systems that are everywhere. I'll post more if I find anything amazing.
Skyrim(Posted by Shinji_Ex)
World Seed has nearly the same theme as Bethesda's video game. Left side of the map land and snow decent bluffs and forest. At the top left hand corner some lava coming out of mountain going almost into the ocean towards the middle top of the map. Right side of the map a lot of frozen over ocean and few islands in the top right side of the map
5-22(Posted by cooldude013)
I have found 3 spawners on it so far. 1 skeleton and 2 zombies. They are fairly close to each other. It has a good amount of iron and big caves. I found reeds and mushrooms. I have not done much caving so I have only found a few diamonds but there is tons of coal and iron.
ryn(Posted by BIGIR0NNUTZ)
There is several open caves near spawn, one of which includes a spider dungeon right on the surface. It has two chests, but I won't list the contents if you don't wish to know them. Other than that, a lot of it is unexplored. It does have a huge tundra biome though.
Metal Gear Solid(Posted by Shinji_Ex)
Nearly the whole map is land with some sand thrown into the mix.
Billie Jean(Posted by MadMikeChambers)
Lot of BIG mountains to the north. Also towards the center at the top of the map I found a cave system that is MASSIVE with tons of gold. Also seen a lot of other good "suprises". Underground Lavafalls/flows, and water.
tandragon(Posted by MadMikeChambers)
Right at the spawn point, if you turn around. You will see a lot of Pumpkins. If y9ou head to the center of the map you will see the BIGGEST waterfall ever with a huge mountain. There is a small cave system within the mountain that has a very small lava flow. So far it seems to be a big island, with some flat terrain also.
THEBLACKTHORNE(Posted by MadMikeChambers)
Spawns you betweeen 3 HUGE mountains, one has a lavafall that pours right into a lake. Between two of the mountains there is a bridge made of dirt connecting them. Upon further exploration I came across a very tall but slim mountain with a waterfall. However in the waterfall there was a squid trapped in it o.O. This map seems to have everything. I will most likely be playing this one myself.
Quesadila(Posted by tomsterbom4)
You spawn right next to a double dungeon, skeleton and zombie. with nice things in the chests with a huge overhang, like, really huge, check this out, caves are quite decent too, add it to the list please and check it out, awesome seed.
Kainoa(Posted by Kainoa25)
You spawn looking at a dirt wall but turn around to huge mountains with a lot of overhangs and a pretty good sized floating island with a tree on it. Travel to the right hugging the mountain to find a mob spawner. Continue to travel to find a lava flow going down a decent sized hill. Lot's of high mountains penetrating cloud level.
729
One user has said that this seed contains 10 blocks of clay, so for those who have always wanted to find the currently rare substance, it may worth be a check.
65805908
Another Clay Seed I noticed somebody post about. The user had said that it contained 53 clay in total, and may be worth a check out for those in seek of the rare resource
Sahara(Posted by Kevin9809)
I tried that and the area you start in is a desert. A good portion of that island is a desert but the rest of the map is green/forested. There is a cool half-open dome of sand with water on the inside near the initial spawn.
Sky Sanctuary(Posted by ThatRandomGuy42)
an epic seed. If you can find the entrance, there is a MASSIVE cave which contains everything. Lava, gold, iron and I bet diamond is in there somewhere.
Chemical Plant (Posted by ThatRandomGuy42)
A very interesting seed. It a massive frozen ocean with huge snowy mountains. There are no trees from my experience.
God Frog(Posted by Alchemilla)
A map which contains tons of forestland and trees, high mountains and some nice lakes.
512164031(Posted by VashTS240)
a pretty awesome seed. on much of the continent where you spawn, there are large deposits of coal. Also, a good deal of iron off surface caves alone. And an immense mountain to build a base. It's one of my personal favorites.
Diamonds Forever(Posted by billnyeizzle)
Spawns you close to a HUGE mountain with a valley going towards the mountain. I dug into the mountain, made a base, then dug a stairway down and found some MASSIVE caves with some good resources.
404
A well known seed which has a Gravel sinkhole containing plenty of resources.
-8665290530820048554(Posted by 4JStu)
I don't have a nice word for it, but it was quite cool to me. A massive underground cave system that only required mining a few blocks to navigate around (and even then it's just to make holes that are already there wider). It starts near the spawn point, and can get you to the SE corner of the map.
Flynn13751(Posted by Jester375)
An all ice map with a massive continent and some amazing mountain views.
Theregon(Posted by Jester375)
Another massive continent. This time, it's all forest with mountains. GREEN and beautiful.
theworstseedever(Posted by metallicbb)
it is not the worst seed ever because there are atleast 20 diamonds down the cave at the start.
Scorpius1981(Posted by Scorpius1981)
I used my Xbox name as a seed.. 75% world arctic, HUGE frozen sea in the middle between continents, the north-west part is mountains with a few grassy hill areas. TONS of iron, haven't found diamonds yet..
Scorpius(Posted by Scorpius1981)
A lot of forest, some cool mountains too. Came across a deep hole (fell in reading map, almost died!) slightly to the south-east of the middle of the map. Turned out to be a HUGE cave system. Loaded with iron, coal, red stone. Seen some gold, Still havent finished exploring so no clue if diamonds are there.
Herne(Posted by Scorpius1981)
havent really explored much, but has some dry-looking savanah and a HUGE forested mountain area with epic mountain formations and arches.
Glacier
A well known Seed , Glacier spawns you next to a ton of mountains, some of them are partly flying. Some of the sights are simply amazing.
Deleptacombie(Posted by kronoseBulzeeb)
it spawns you near a realy weird looking overhang mountain good for a base and it has lots of flat grassy flatland sand beaches rocky mountains and at least 3 surface lava falls and it has oceans all around and lots of islands the only thing this place dont have is snow there is a zombie dungean in the sandy beach in the middle of the map also
BIG(Posted by Zschalix)
It was 90% ice/snow/ocean. All four corners have small non-icy areas. The only areas that even had dry trees were in the southwest and southeast corners... Also much of the ice had dirt or sand beneath it if you need that as well.
704(Posted by epiphany)
No screenshots at the moment but there are a ton of caves & deep ravines (many of which I've found diamond in without having to dig very far - just enough to break into the next cave system) & several overhangs reminiscent of the spectacular ones in 729. More important, though, are several very easy to find diamonds - just have a poke round in a few of the caves. The land is flatter than 729 & has larger plains better suited for large structures. 704 also has more snow than 729 but has less trees (although still more than enough for a while). No pumpkins in 704 though...lol. Haven't found a dungeon yet but I haven't really been looking...if anyone tries 704 out & finds something interesting, I'd be interested to hear about it.
777(Posted by braws)
a lot of resources and floating islands, also beutiful landscape with cool trees
gargamel
Well known seed, which spawns you inside a dark cavern. Once you manage to get out you will find yourself surrounded by steep mountains and rough land.
Pulp Nonfiction(Posted by Demonicbeandip)
with this seed you spawn near an open lava pit in the middle of the world. Open spaces covered in grass...the most grass I've seen in this game. A little snow near the edges of the map and some floating mountain structures litter the outcroppings of very large mountains. A side note I found many open caves with a lot of coal and iron as well as diamonds.
Notched Pickaxe(Posted by KvoxelS)
That was a unique item found at the throat of the world in skyrim, the highest peak in the game so I was pleased to find that this used as a seed generated a very interesting map filled with snow covered peaks reaching the clouds, caverns, ravines, lakes, forests and desert areas too, plenty of variation with some quite scenic locations, I recall one epic waterfall almost 3/4 the height of the tallest peak. In fact it seemed quite uncanny to the point where I found myself searching for the iconic location in skyrim known as Solitude, sadly though I had little time to explore before bed. I highly recommend checking this one out.
Specs(Posted by DewieMax)
mostly one huge landmass with massive overhangs and arches everywhere. lots of trees to suit your needs. just south of spawn is an arch string with a heart shaped lagoon. Standing in the lagoon, looking at the arches, dig in the right most leg of the "m" for a great cave system with a zombie dungeon. At the top of the map is a nice chain of small to mid sized islands. The bottom of the map has a nice sized plains good for a small village or big build. To the west of that is a nice sized desert. spider dungeon near top in that desert. Gotta dig around for a bit. no clay sadly
Harpy Dragoon(Posted by matthew712)
Found perhaps one of the coolest seeds I've seen so far. It has more land than water(a first for the seeds I've found. Has one HUGE land mass that covers most of the bottom of the map, then some water, then another rather large land mass. Has some awesome hills/valleys/ravines/plateaus. Even has some surface lava. Biomes seem to be mostly forest with a large desert biome in the bottom left corner of the map.
TheLegionoftheSometimesMechanic(Posted by CharityDiary)
has (near spawn) giant mountains that go over the clouds, a cave that goes directly through the mountain, numerous large surface caverns, above-ground lava, a very tall waterfall, and jack-o-lanterns.
Eden(Posted by Atheosis)
A combination of gentle, mild terrain with some nice mountains and at least one very impressive cave system.
HappyVille(Posted by lostchicken147)
A mix of every biome is there. Good land for building. Crazy cave systems, make sure you bring a shovel. Lots of dungeons, ive counted 6 so far, accessed from the caves just dig through dirt and gravel patches. Sugar cane.Large forests. I dont know if its the world but there is a lot of wolfs spread round the map. You spawn next to a forest, a desert hill, and a cave full of coal.
champions 12(Posted by D4RKSOUL5)
lots of cave systems with massive lava pools. its diamonds gallore down there
Modern Warfare(Posted by Cont8gious)
you will enter a world full of high mountains, deep valleys, and even a great building spot that appears to be floating above water. also great for multiple bases which could be connected by rail system. this seed def has plenty to offer as far as building ideas go.
Peelz here(Posted by Alchemilla)
90% Land, it has some awesome mountains, lots of trees, lava waterfalls and a cool desert. Also contains a large amount of flowers and roses, too. I have not explored any caves yet, but the world itself is excellent quality and great for those who prefer a map of land, rather than water.
420(Posted by Master_Buttchin)
a great map seed. It has a lot of variety. There are mountains, forests, ice lakes, deep water, and beaches...all in a crescent-like shape with a massive body of water in the middle.
Cheese(Posted by anon_1989)
You'll start off on top of, or near, a sand pit; if you start digging through it(some blocks of sand will collapse), you'll eventually end up in an underground cave. If you make torches and pickaxes, and start exploring the catacombs, nearby, especially the one going up, near the waterfall, you'll eventually find yourself in one, huge, messy cavern, full of catacombs, rich in coal and iron, and if you go deep enough in it, you'll find a good size(large) lava lake with a small vein of diamonds, above it.
I haven't explored much of the world, far from the cavern, but it looks like there are pits, leading to other caverns, scattered across the land, which is mostly tundra. There's a good size(huge) mountain, nearby, that pokes through the clouds. I've also checked out another nearby area, where an arch appears to be floating above a small mountain, almost making a complete loop; it has an exposed lavafall, there.
Diamonds, diamonds everywhere!
I've seen multiple users mention this one over time. It's said to contain a huge lava flow, a massive floating mountain above a zombie dungeon, and some really amazing sights.
Dead Mau5
Dead Mau5 is another well known seed, which contains multiple things. One of them being a Skeleton Dungeon with x3 Saddles, x6 Iron, x3 Buckets and x3 Redstone. There are some amazing sights, and there are also flying mountains with multiple waterfalls.
Gersch(Posted by NyteWyrm)
Generates lots of small caves full of dead ends, we had a lot of trouble getting deep. However, 2 hours into the game we had 9 and a half stacks of iron and a small chest of coal. Dual skeleton spawners can also be found directly below a mountain shaped like an upside-down L.
Notch is DEAD(Posted by NyteWyrm)
Generates some wierd landscapes, trees floating 20+ blocks in the air on single blocks of grass and a floating 3 block thick sheet of sand directly NORTH of spawn. The sand is used as a mob farm by us, and it spans 22x23 blocks at 5 height off ground. Reminded us of Notch failing at worldedit, so we named our house Notch's Failure.
888
Another known clay seed for those who are interested in finding a world with clay.
Frozen's World(Posted by Frozensword14)
most of my world is covered in snow and the water is mostly iced over. One of the caves (if you find it) is huge if you dig a little into it containing two dungeons, underground waterfalls (with squids), and some lava lakes. The world has a few small forests that aren't covered with snow. I decided to talk about my seed here because someone said it was a rare seed that I discovered.
LoSTchICkeN147(Posted by lostchicken147)
I used my Xbox gamer tag and it is an interesting world. There are 2 large deserts. Vast amounts of ocean with medium sized islands scattered around containing sugar cane. Good looking and awesome mountains and hills, even some sand cliffs in the deserts. Spawn area is connecting a desert to a large flat land that then connects to the mountainous area. Ore veins on the surface in the large flat area.
flatgrass(Posted by KingKoolAid)
A good well rounded seed, you spawn on the edge of a small island, not far from two other similar sized islands, next to one large island, with a very large, flat plateau, a couple of TNT blocks on a small hill and it will easily offer a large 100X100 + space! To reach this area, go south-east from the spawn. Brilliant for Mansion builds and starting towns in Multiplayer!
Isla Nublar(Posted by STEMM_monster)
In case you didn't know this is the name of the island in the movie Jurassic Park. It is a pretty amazing seed with excellent scenery. The landscape consists of forests and deserts. When you spawn you should be in a lake in the middle of a desert. If you stay within the desert (don't go into the surrounding forests) and continue walking south, you should find a large chasm. And directly beside it is yet another massive chasm
what are the coordinates for the 5-22 skele spawner?
Hi guys! I'm a huge fan of the video game series Mother, and I wanted to find a seed with a wide valley between mountains so I can (attempt to) recreate Saturn Valley. Seen any seeds like that lately?

Just tried this seed and pretty impressed with it.
Happen to know the coordinates for any dungeons? Or anything of interest?
Be sure you are entering the seed EXACTLY as listed. Capitalization counts!
Yes entering everything exactly the same as listed. Also naming the world after the seed now.
Playing on Xbox.

Retired StaffI think this is the world I am currently working in and I would like to say that there is at least one huge cave system under the main continent near the center of the map and at least 2-4 Mob spawner/dungeuns scattered about the world.
Seed: 4574931062788167463
Dungeon Coords: X: -2, Y: 73, Z: 2
UPDATE: Screenshots...
I have more if needed.

Village? I don't think that's an Xbox 360 seed…
