There is always the chance they release the game like this;
I've seen quite a few of these bundled releases, with 3 popular XBLA games. Certainly a possibility.
Yeah, true. Or like where it's a Game Of The Year Edition, where they might have alot of addons and texture packs that could possibly be a couple GBs or more, BUT THIS WOULD BE ALLOOOOOOOT of stuff.
I doubt putting it on a usb at a friends house will work..If downloaded to a usb stick does the license go on the console or usb? Afaik the only way to play a game on a console you didnt download the game on is to be logged into xbox live, which obviously he cant,.And does microsoft allow you to transfer licenses to a banned console?
I really wish they would make a disc version... It would be so much better to me. I think buying a disc is more convenient then downloading it off of Xbox live. :/
Minecraft has been selling like absolute gangbusters on the Xbox 360. It’s brought in millions for Microsoft, 4J Studios and Mojang.
In it’s current form, though, it’s only available as a digital download. However, that’s going to change at the end of April as Minecraft is getting a physical retail edition.
The news comes by way of PlayXBLA, the official Xbox LIVE Arcade blog. Here’s the skinny on what the retail version is:
This version of “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition” will contain all the same features and content included in the current version, as well as the new additions coming soon in the ninth title update to the game.
The post goes on to indicate that the retail version will sell for $19.99, and it will be available in the US on April 30th, 2013.
Whether you’re a collector or you’ve never connected your Xbox 360 to the internet (those people exist, I promise), this version of Minecraft seems pretty neat.

Where do you see the physical disk version of Minecraft for sale? Amazon has nothing, and all the news say April is the release. The only eBay sale I see so far is for a "Pre-Sale" order http://r.ebay.com/DOnVWH
