On the stream, they said that a patch (bug fix's) will be out in a few weeks, while 0.7.3 won't be out until July...And texture packs are still being looked into, but they hinted at the ability to pick wich preset character you want to play as...

Live stream over. Patch for glitches 2 weeks including. Piston glitches 1.7.3 update after that then it seems it may be. Fall before 1.8
